Here's my idea of what a Christian SHOULD DO.

What does today's modern Christian's do too. Just because.

Today if we see a homeless man on the street asking for a dollar, we give them the change or say we don't have it. WRONG. If a homeless man asks you for a dollar, you ask him what else he needs and give more to him.

Our jobs as Christians should be to protect and serve (I know that sounds really army like doesn't it? but it's true.) not going around being scammers and liars.

Ignorance seems to be a part of Christian churches these days. People are taught to force religion into peoples heads as it seems to me, instead of taking time to listen. Compromise is constantly taken for granted. Such as evolution, oh that's not real lets completely ignore everything, well man came from dust correct?

Judgement is a fall in the Christian churches. Too much concern on a persons' personality or fashion preference, how they cut their hair, what kind of clothes they wear. I don't think Jesus would have gone around telling people to shop at only Sears because it's Godly..

Christians should base their entire faith on one thing: Love. Love is respectful, honest, and kind. God= Love. That's why I left the traditional Christian churches, too much ignorance, jealousy, and lack of actual communication considering half the time you can't give your two cents, they'll interrupt you and freak out.

 

Why would yo give a homeless guys stuff?

They fucked their own life up, they don't need my shit.

When a bum asked me for change once I said "for a twenty right?" and they guy started crying.

And another time some guy asked me for change (I'm not sure if he was a bum) and I said "yeah sure." I put my hand in my pocket and pulled out the middle finger. The guy laughed though lol.

 

I really wish that being Christian meant acting more like Jesus instead of worshiping jesus. (The ole' finger pointing at the moon conflict), then we would have basically alot more hippies, accepting everyone and such. Kind of like jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar the movie or the Last Temptation. You see some planned communities like this, but most of the time you get your standard waspy american worshiping the finger instead of the moon.


Every bum has his own story. I don't mind giving out sandwiches and food to any homeless guy around but I really feel no desire to hand over money I worked for. It's conflicting for me because I want to help people but I have no desire to get taken advantage of. ehh.

Well, most mystics believe that Jesus was a mystic. And being a CM, you are supposed to do as Jesus would do.

The homeless thing is an example, in Biblical times it was a huge shame on your part, if you saw a man walking alone outside at night, and didn't invite him in for a place to stay for the night.
