Does Petco drug test?

It is exactly how it sounds. I applied for a job there and got a call about it today.

The only problem is smoking everyday does not help with drug tests.

Anybody have a clue if they do?

Actually, i'm pretty sure they do. my friend applied to either petco or pet smart and was drug tested. Check their website?

 

being that they are a corporate business.. its probably a good guess that they do test

Whats it matter if they do? You go in, interview, take the test, dont get the job. Nothings going to happen except you getting good interview experiance.

 

I don't think so, or at least not the grooming department. One of my dealers parents were heads of the grooming dept at a petco, and they offered me a job. We were passing around a joint so I asked if they tested and they said no.

Petsmart tested though, for sure.

Well you miss out on a really well-paying job(Costco is known for this) where you do very little.

 

ok how is not tending to the care of animals a career? I guees if your going to be a vet. it would be a good place to start..

Its Not like when you turn the Dog groomer of the year award into a Bong..its not going to get you fired anyways..

 

Even if they were to test you they wouldn't do it they do of the interview. I got a job at a Jimmy Johns [sandwich place for those who don't know] and they said they were going to test but never did. But if they do test you more than likely you will know when it is and you'll just have to go buy a drink/shampoo depending on what kind of test it is.

 

if i was the boss at petco, i'd rather have stoners work for me. they'd probably be more likely to get along with the animals. haha
