im so happy iv been getting opium for 10$ a gram.its all over the place now.its brown and gooish almost looks like hash and smell like really good like flowers of perfume or somthing.iv never been able to buy it.i bought 1 gram like 2 weeks ago and i still have it.last forever.just bought 2 more grams last night.anyone else been getting this shit in the northeast or anywhere.
Its not opium. It is most likely a substance commonly called "soapium". I do not have any definitive information on this, but I believe it is a relatively cheap product made from "wild lettuce" (Lactuca sp.) or something similar to it. I believe you can find it online for sale for a couple of bucks a gram. It is legal and does not appear to be harmful or addictive. I had tried some last summer, and I found the effects to be pleasant, but NOTHING like smoking proper opium. I felt bad telling my friend he got ripped off. Real opium is not to be trifled with - it is highly addictive, let us not forget. Real raw opium is expensive ($30-35 and up) and does not have a spongy, gooey texture, but is resinous. Processed opium, such as the famous "black tar" variety are hard and crumbly. It is virtually impossible to get it in the US since it is much more profitable and easier to transport as heroin. Do check out the nice pictures on Wikipedia, which I believe to be quite accurate. Other advice: any pipe you smoke this stuff you bought in (especially a wood one) will smell like that crap forever, as will anything you keep it in, so be careful to use something you are not too fond of.
all opium i have ever had was black as night and basically looked like a ball of resin but with a much more flowerful smell... and tasted absolutely delicious... i like smokin opium every now and then... but its a pain in the ass to find.. its been a couple years now since i smoked any
this stuff looks black but when you tear i little bit off you can see the brownish color.and the smell is awesome.man i was thinking this stuff was the real deal.hope it isn't that soap shit.what ever it is its pretty amazing after you smoke a little bit iv broke off like 8 little balls off a gram and still have probley 8 more.but i have a nice glass peice and i smoked it out of it.next bowl of weed i pack,i could still taste it a little bit but not that much.
oh yeah and it burns like constintley with a steady stream of smoke.iv stuck it on a safty pin to and did it like that.
I doubt what your getting is actually opium. 99% of the shit sold as "opium" here is some ghoo inscence or a variety of other things that all smell nice and look a bit like opium. Some of these imitations will provide mild effects combined with placebo. Heres the reason you won't find real opium here: you need a shit load of land to harvest even a single ounce of opium. With all this space you could much more easily grow pot, or use the land to make heroin and make a SHIT LOAD more money. Therefore the only people growing opium will most likely be small time operations for personal use. To the OP: if this "opium" is only costing you 10 dollars a gram, and there is a large supply of it then it certainly is not opium. sorry
Well my bro knew a guy who knew a guy that had like 18 grams or so of opium for personal use. I'm pretty sure he harvested it himself. I bought up 4 grams of it over a week for 15 bucks for the first 2 then 25 for the next 2.

Yes they do use poppies but a field of poppies that would produce a few ounces of opium...racking in maybe a couple thousand dollars would get you a shitload more money if it were heroin. Therefore there really aren't large opium grow operations here, only overseas. Anyhow I didn't say that its impossible to get, I've gotten opium here. Just that nearly every time its going to be fake and im positive the shit the OP is getting is fake. So calm the fuck down.
So say I have a house and decide to fill my gardens with poppy plants, will the cops begin watching me? I don't believe it is difficult to extract the opium from the plant itself, so if I did that part somewhere other than my house, it would be very unlikely I get caught, correct?
Well, Papaver Somniferum IS technically legal to grow in this country, obviously there are fields of it all over Florida. But the moment you begin lancing pods, your fucked. HOWEVER, once you lance them you can bring them inside to dry, though it is better to let it dry in the Sun. So, in reality, it's probably very easy to do the process yourself, however to get a substantial yield, probably very difficult.
Exactly, which means you make a lot more money processing heroin and selling that instead of selling opium. Thats what gdhead meant I assume. I've had real opium a few times at festivals a couple times locally, and it's a really nice high, but oxys are better I think. I would def buy some ope though if it came around and it was legit.

I am definitely growing poppies this year, they are extremely easy, just throw the seeds, them cover them with a layer of soil. The seeds are easily attainable, and pretty cheap.
^Well Opium may not be that difficult to grow, but if you take the time to do it better then the quality and yield of your opium will (obviously) be much greater. Sure you can pretty much plant them and let them grow but if you regulate moistness and temperatures and such to an extent the result is worth it.
