I can speak German and I cant write it at all. and use a translator, my dad is german and we know words and phrases but nothing to brag about I bumped your thread cause I was board, Es freut mich, Sie kennen zu lernen.
I don't take German Class because honestly I would pass in 7th grade I got a 120 as a final grade... And besides my school (highschool) got rid of it for lack of popularity. Sucks doesn't it? I hate spanish >.>
Whats happening is Spanish people are taking over the world.. Youll have to take German up in a college class. look and see if you have a Community college in your area.. hoffe, dass geholfen.

Germany is a beautiful country yes... what's the nazi nonsense you're talking about? That ended more or less in 1949. The only nazis in Germany today are Neo-Nazis, and the Neo-Nazi movement is actually from the west coast USA where the rich kids though it would be cool to be dangerous. Scorpius, if you want to learn German very quickly, then make an exchange year in Germany. The total cultural and lingual submersion is the best method. Good luck with your future plans
Thanks when I graduate next year the last day of school I'll be in Germany so. Yeah yesterday I seen my mom's bosses son and was like nice army jacket (he's from Germany along with the whole other family) I'm gonna live in idk yet maybe frankfurt or berlin for a few years.
