If I had to take a 5 panel drug screen, would methadone show up as an opiate? I have heard a couple different things and was wondering if anyone knew for sure.

on a drug screen it does not show up unless it is specifically tested for. It is technically an opiate analoge, but it doesent break down into morphine during metabolism like traditional opiates that are commonly abused and tested for in drug screens.
