My "dreads" (I hesitate to call them that right now) are 4 days old. My friend backcombed, but we left out the chemicals for half of it after reading here. (We did half and half on different days.)

My hair is a fuzzy crazy mess, and I love it. I picked up some fabric and sewed some nice head wraps for times that I need to tame the girls. Even after these few days they are starting to lay down and some feel a little knottier while others feel looser. It's interesting to see what they do from day to day.

If anyone can instruct me on how to post a photo I would love to do so, even thought, as my husband says, I look like the kid on the Hawaian Punch commercials from back in the day. lol.

I love seeing all of your lovely locks, and thanks for all the advice you dispense on a regular basis!

Photos photos, I think the easiest way is to do what I do
go to www.photobucket.com make an account upload your photo
then when you go to make a post there is an image button and you can copy and paste the link from photobucket ;)

I think there is a way to make it a clickable thumbnail wish I knew hwo to do that, someone else should fill that bit in.

Your dreads sound fun, its nice that you have such a good atittude about it!
