The journey began long, long, ago.

Then 5 festies, 50 blotters, 1 pound of cannabis, and 2 ounces of mushies later, the crazed and ego deprived Wookie emerges from his cocoon a new being. His consciousness evolved to the status of Alien beings and pyhsical appearance devolved to that of close Cro-Magnon ancestors.

[IMG] Thanks for everyones help and support in the begining ! Your kind comments mean so much to me.

This was all done with no backcombing, sectioning, or WAX. If you want fat natural dreads just don't comb your hair and keep it CLEAN. I use baking soda and tea tree oil with a bit of salt to wash my hair or use Dr. Bssssss !

Peace and love to everyone here at HIP FORUMS and all those aspiring dread heads. See you this summer !!!!

Now those represent a journey. Exactly how I see dreads in my minds eye. Natural is definately the way to go. Cheers

Thanks so much ! I can't wait to see what these will look like at 3+ years with some length to them. This summer I will be looking for some trippy glass beads to give a home to, I know some glass artists that go to a local fest and want to get something real special to start the summer off with a blast !

Dopeamin what do you think hair is supposed to look like after not combing for a year and a half and not doing any maintaining except washing ?

Plus, by not backcombing or sectioning each dread takes on a personality and look of it's own. Loops, spirals, holes, congos, splits, bundles, little balls, kinks; make the dreads look custom for that person and not like anyone elses. They tell a story or adventure instead of symetrical likeness.

ah ya edited and added onto that yea man well said dreads grow the way they wanna grow

its funny how every1 strives for round and blunt and perfectly proportioned and its always the 1 most unique that makes ya happiest the beaver tail the ziggy zaggy the wild and crazy

    Thanks SE !

Don't think we have ever met in person. Surely I would have remembered those dreads and we would still be buds to this day for sure !

I used to post in the old knotty forum before it was moved. I have not posted for so long because I didn't have a camera for pictures and was in the process of moving out of my parents home.

My hair has slowed to a crawl in growth and shrunk 60% probably. So it is definatly shorter then when I started. The big dreads are slowly consuming the loose hairs. I can't wait till they are the length of yours. I will be careful though, and tie them out of the way because I have already lost one little beardy dread that was pulled out. I still have a big beard dread forming though. Can't see it unless I stretch it out.

Yeah the crazy ones make me smile and give me something to look at and enjoy ! I have a huge congo and a few beaver tails. They will be huge once they grow in length.

nobody hates you, but you're obnoxious and act like you're an expert in all things dready, when really the only experts are nature and time. you don't have to like someone's dreads but you also don't have to be so annoying.

that's just my view, but I can't really say that for certain because I don't know you.

    peace...
