Right OK I have been living here in Holland for 3 years now, and in all that time I haven't made it to any of the many festivals they have here in the summer.

So I was thinking this year I would try to catch one or two, but the question is, which one(s)?

Lowlands doesn't seem to have a very interesting line-up, that is the obvious first choice, so I was thinking maybe Dance Valley. A weekend of beer, hash and psychedelic trance would sort me right out I think. They always make really nice flyers and posters for it as well.

Anyone got any other suggestions for where to go?

Hmmmm, yes. The artwork on the web site of Dance Valley is all very beautiful and alluring. But a closer look at the line up and I'm kind of put off somewhat. Tiesto, Carl Cox et al... I reckon it'll probably be full of posers and house people. I expect it to be something like The Matrixx mini festival every year at the zomer feest in Nijmegen. Mind you Judge Jules is on the line up, I saw him play years ago at the Hacienda and he was pretty good. ta for the suggestions.

Bit like Love Parade is it, chicks running around in white cowboy hats, that kind of thing....

Doesn't sound that bad, but music wise I reckon I'm looking for a Goa party.
