help keep there amazing music in the social conscience intelligently written punk, and the last album, has the very popular new noise highly recommended
i have new noise. it's awesome. "we dance to all the wrong songs. we enjoy all the wrong moves..." gotta love those lyrics haha.
It's a great album. So many clever songs. It really showed that you can write political punk songs without resorting to sloganeering (as so many bands are want to do). New Noise is great, but my favourite is Summer Holiday Vs. Punk Routine.
Refused will never be forgotten. Their music has been so influential to many new bands. I mean even The Used have covered Refused songs live. Don't want to hi-jack this thread, but a band called FRODUS supported Refused during their last live performance in the US. If you like Refused, you'll like them. They have a myspace if you want to listen.
The refused is a very influential band... not only to the band I'm in... but also to the whole punk scene. They have a unique sound that makes them one of my favorite bands
