Which would you rather own?

Would you rather own a female or male cat?

Would you rather own a female or a male dog?

 

Just depends I have 3 female dogs and 1 male dogs and I like the male and 1 of the females they all have different personalities. Though he is neutered most male dogs will piss all over everything to mark teritory that is the bad thing. And if you don't get the female fixed also she bleeds when she is in heat. So it just depends.

And for the cats just as dogs do the male will mark it spot. I have both female and male cats I like both but would have to say female for the cats because well I don't know why I just do. I keep her inside so she is my baby, she is the only cat I have that don't want to go outside unless I am right there. So she is like one of my kids.
But all animals have their own personality. If you are asking because you are thinking about getting one just spend a little time with it before you buy it. One time I went to buy a cat at the pet store and couldn't make up my mind over two of them so I stayed their for about 3 hours because I was not sure who would be the better one for me. lol that is a long time, but I was giving $150. for her and I was going to like the cat I brought home.

 

I have six dogs, 4males and 2 females, I just live my dogs so it doesn't matter to me

 

I would never 'own' a living creature, but....

Out of those a male dog...
A dog by default, my family don't like cats (I don't mind them, but am not that keen) and dogs don't leave dead birds lying around.
And a male because a female's unine would kill the grass. Just being practical.

I'd much rather have another rabbit though.

 

I have plenty of female cats my grass doesn't die, so either they don't pee or that isn't true, though I think all urine could kill grass no matter who did it, just depends on how strong the urine is. Silly Though rabbits are cool. I had one a while back and it grew up with one of my kittens and they used to try to screw each other, it was the funniest shit ever...

 

In my experiance, female cats are much more aloof then the males are. The males seem to be sweeter in general...so I prefer have a male cat.
And I would much rather have a female dog......not as likely to hump your leg

 

lmao very true, I had this pit bull one time and I had this friend and everytime she came over he would tackle her and start humping her no matter what you did to the dog he would not get off of her, she started honking everytime she came over so I could put the dog somewhere far away from her, lol

 

I meant a female dog, friends of ours have a spaniel bitch and she has killed almost all their lawn.
No idea about cats, as I say we aren't 'cat people'

Eek not keen on that, it's bad enough that the cat next door does.

I'm convinced that he knows my family don't like him, so they are peace offerings. Even so, it's not that appealing.

 

I am a cat person and I prefer female cats. I've known and loved some male cats too, but I've been closest to my girls. I've had problems with males spraying even after they were fixed and I've noticed that they don't keep themselves quite as clean. Males are usually more needy and want to be petted more often than females. The girls are often aloof, but I like them that way. I like my pets to be independant. My girls keep to themselves a lot of the time, but they also get in moods each day where they want to be held. And its just the right amount for me.

 

well.. dont know about 'owning', theyr all theyr own ... i dont really prefer whether thay are female or male.. sometims they have different temperments depending.. but when ya get to know them they all have different personalities anywaa.. we have a dog whose a real laady, 2 cocotiel moheekan birdies who r a couple and mr mango ..a parrot ( actually we live in his cage..the house). at my mums is is my sister doggie who we grew up with.... i sooooo miss havin cats around tho.. i still miss oscar who ran away when i was 13 when we moved house.. it was really sad.. i spent weeks lookin for him but he'd just vanished.. awhh ... it would b so nice to have a cat here.. can just imagine the dog, cat, bird senario tho

I have a girl kitty and a boy kitty
and I would not trade either of them for anything
in the world. I love them both so much.

 

I'd rather own a female cat, because boy cat's spray!

and I would rather own a female dog, because I hate when a boy dogs penis comes out!!!!! EWWWW!

Funny thing is, I have a boy cat, and a boy dog.
