i have a cold right now... it sucks and I want to smoke a bowl - does anyone know if this will make me feel even more shitty? or will it make me feel better?
You'll be fine as long as you stay hydrated. You should be drinking more water than normal anyway since you're sick, but if you smoke be sure to drink a few extra glasses.
while your sick i recommend not using joints those burn your throat anyway use a bowl or pipe then toke up my friend!
thanks for the advice.. yeah I'm drinking a shitload of liquids.. man, being sick sucks i use a bong too, so im not too worried about hurting my throat at all.
It always makes me feel better while I'm high, but it never cures me. I come down feeling just as bad. Usually I just load a bowl all the way up and surf on that bowl all day so I never have to feel the effects of being sick. Fetch some Canada Dry, some Cape Cod or Cheetos popcorn and a few really good movies. That will keep you busy for about 6 hours. I hope you get to feeling better soon buddy.
being sick does suck i hope you feel better soon i donno about smoking making u feel better but it helps me funny story... i was making a bong one day with a couple friends cuz we were about to smoke up at my house cuz my parents had jsut left for the weekend i was gonna spend the night at my friends house that weekend. well anyways i was doing sumthin stupid tryin to get the inky part out of a highlighter and the knife(yes stupid me not looking for a pair of scissors) and it jabbed into my left hand really deep im talkin three or four stitches wortha t least. well blood went gushing everywhere and so i booked it to the bathrooma nd wrapped it up in in TP and then i was like oh shit man this hurts like a bitch. well my brother got home from work and he helped me wrap it in gauze and secure it but it was still hurting like a MFer so i was jsut screw this i need some weed. i had my friend dig in my pocket and pull out the half O i had just bought and so we loaded a bowl and then he lit it while i held and carbed it. man it made my hand completley numb and i was able to relax for hours and then constantly smoke all day and being high all day let me be able to bikle the 2 or so miles to my friends house without pain. god i love weed!
Gotta smoke through the sickness. You may cough more, but it's much better than not smoking. Hell, one of my friends had bronchitis, and he smoked his way through that.
I was just sick all weekend too, and when i went for my daily afternoon bong load, i felt even higher than if I wasn't sick. And if you have a runny nose, and you have shit that makes u cough really bad, then it is not too comfortable.
Not to be gross....I find when I am sick and have a cold, maybe a lil somethin in my throat. That when i smoke it is easier to get rid of....<<didn't want to go into details. Hope you feel better soon
hey thanks for the good advice all! I ended up smoking a couple bowls outta my bong last night... made me completely forget about my cold and I felt so good!.. . time to load another bowl
