Emails for Inmates, Has anyone used this?

I was wondering if theres a Emails for Inmates for Pennsylvania DOC. If anyone else has freinds family in Pa, that has used this. While Im only bringing it up cause Im just looking into it now and I may find that it is operation in PA DOC, But Im not sure as of this post.

I would like to see this inacted if its not otherwise of service to Pa DOC inmates. And your Input on the subject is appreciated, Since many of us have freinds and family in DOC institutions in PA /USA and elsewhere. I feel its much easier to type than write, though writing is more personal. Its also time consumming. And lots of times we neglect our freinds in prison due to our selfishness and busy lifestyles, but not intentionally forgetting they are there.

I think it will also cut down on paper waste, and inmates will also recieve more voices from Outside.
While the DOC have screening for contraband with incoming mail this would also lighten that load.

 

I know inmates in MA are not allowed to use the internet...not sure if all jails have this rule

 

accually the inmate recieve the E mail on Paper its delivered to them just as the regular mail is. Its processed and screened by the institution and Inmates dont have to access it via computer terminal. Of which they have in prison but dont allow internet access.. Im sure that they could ony recieve maybe one or two messages a week depending on custody status?
