My 25 year old son has cancer and today he was admitted into the hospital (again) and when they gave him his pain meds,I didn't recognize this as an oxycontin 80mg like they said it was. It's the same size as a brandname oxy 80 but its orange and it has a G over 154 on one side and nothing on the other. I've been around a while but I've never seen this and it worries me 'cuz hospitals do make mistakes sometimes.I hope someone can put my mind at ease about this.Thanx.

Yes that's a generic oxycontin, 80 mg pills say g164 though, so it could only be 40 mgs.
