I'd like to propose a little competition here. It can involve any FAMOUS or Independent artists. PLUS it can PROMOTE Independent Artists as well. The game is to choose two MySpace bands/artists and chose one song from each to face each other in a poll. Here are my choices : SUICIDE SAM - "Miss Anthropy" TRAGIC FLAW - "The Silence" Go to these links and click on the song listed for each artist, and then drop a message and vote in the poll! Rate these songs on their qualities: Which one sticks with you? Which one is better quality? Which song moves you? I vote Miss Anthropy. 1) Better quality recording. 2) Catchier. 3) More Melodic. 4) Just as ass kickin' but not overboard. 5) And Sam can actually sing in tune rather than merely scream like he shoved his fucking hand in a meatgrinder. The dude in the second band screams, probably due to the fact that he sings OUT OF TUNE about half the song. Have fun. And I more people participate in this with other bands/artists.
Lib, I've gotta be honest. Neither one really suits my taste. I just put up a thread about Al Stewart for christsakes ;p So: I voted in the polls yesterday, but today I will choose to refrain from voting. Awesome idea though. I'll think of some for a poll.
