Exactly. It just reinforces patterns. BUT, I don't face the challenges that parents face. At least not yet, so I don't want to sound like a know-it-all.
two parents who never aggreed with each other on anything, other then to stay togather for the rest of their lives, to spite both of their families who were prejudiced against each other. also a lot of going for long walks in the woods by myself, when i couldn't stand either of their lunacy. and the railroad. i was a railway child. by that i mean, when i was little he had no seniority, so they sent him all over the devision, mostly little towns way out in the boonies, who'se only link to 'civilization' WAS the railroad. and i loved it. the little towns, and the wilderness surrounding them that is. and the trains. and the whole atmosphere of living and growing up arround railroading, mostly (to me long after) after steam, but before amtrak. when the diesels (and the passinger cars) had lots of bright pretty colors. =^^= .../\...
