Just wonderin', what's some kick-ass old stuff you still have? Here's mine: 1. A ollld,OLLLD, laptop ( you know, those HUGE 10 pound ones?). It's a T6600C Toshiba (incase you've heard of it), with Windows 95 running on it,and...wait...*checks* 1.12GB Harddrive space .yes,It's from 1993 and still works like it's brand new!!(I still experiment with it , and dig out old documents and stuff...it's actually pretty fast...) It even has one of those weird CD drives which you can take out...and a strange keyboard..... 2. A Sega Genesis (NTSC), with a bunch of games that still work. 3.2 Super nintendos (NTSC and PAL, they look VERY different for some strange reason....) That still work, and, just like the Sega a bunch of games 3. Two Gameboy Pockets THAT STILL WORK, with a bunch of games THAT WORK. 4. One of The old, old, big, big, Gameboys....which DOESN'T work I may find more things.... Sooooo.......what really old treasures do you still have and can't buy anymore? (This includes anything interesting....)
I have a regular nintendo and lots a games...I also have one of those gameboy type things where little lines (like this: l ) play basketball....but I think you can buy those still.
i have a computer from 2018...really really old lol no i have a camera my grandfather bought in Japan in 2953, a WWII tank shell my great-grandfather made in July 1943 (he worked in a tank factory here in Dallas), a radio from 1997, my dad has one of those BIG cell phones from 1991, and a tape recorder from the late 80s
OH shit!!! lol i was just thinking last night....damn, i have a lot of old shit. i dunno, i collect a lot of weird things. like, i have little jar on my desk filled with different body parts from dolls. those arent that old though. i have a large collection of old buttons, i have TONS of old band shirts, and also i used to go to paper shows a lot and now i have a small collection of postcards that were sent during world war 2. and i still have just aout everything i have ever owned since about 2nd grade. my dad is 75, and he has kept everything he has ever owned in his life.
oh, and when i was 5 years old, i went to a birthday party at golf-land. i remember it well. it was my friend kristens 5th birthday. anyways, i got a balloon. i tied the string around my doorknob when i got home. the balloon deflated like a week later and i threw that away, but the string is still there.
I keep most of my old toys too, but many of them have gotten lost from moving so much. Heh, I have old buttons too...haven't found a use for them yet though...they smell really funny too, my great great grandma started the collection I believe...so now I ripp buttons off of everything before I throw it away...
dont know. theyre interesting. i like old buttons. the ones that were made in the 60s-80s were either made out of clear colored plastic, or out of shell. most of them. then the ones from the 20s are like huge and round, and then the reallllly old ones are made from bone or ivory. i just think its interesting to collect.
and i also collect those buttons that are for little kids and they are plastic and shaped like cute little animals. i put those ones on my clothes. is anyone getting tired of hearing about buttons? cause im going to keep talking
that's true...there are tons of different kinds of buttons. It's kind of fun to look thru them and be like my great great grandma wore this, I bet it came on dress... heh hopefully that made sense
yes it made sense....lol it is strange towonder about that. like who wore it and how many different people wore it.
It's interesting how interesting buttons can be(that is, old ones...), eventhough new ones are soooooo boring....they're nice and round, I try to save alot of stuff, but my room's always a mess! Anyway, juicy redgirl, that nintendo....is it still working? cuz if it is...well...then you most take very good care of your stuff! someday that's gonna be a kick-ass collector's item (it actually already is......) And goatman, you've got some kick ass stuff there which will also be wortha alot someday!
Yep it still works. And you don't even ever have to blow in it to get it to work...some of the games are a different story however.
really? I still need to blow into my game counsils....EXCEPT MY TOSHIBA!!!(nyahahahaha....1,12 gig! =b,I love it....). But how can I blow into a 'laptop'(if that's what you wanna call it....)? I never saw them old ones, can you show me a pic?
i still got a working nintendo, super nintendo, and a sega genesis. all with working games. i also got about 5 different types of game boys. those things STILL kick ass. the one that came out in the early 90's still works. the BIG gray one with a tiny screen? i used to play tetris on that all the time. it's still lying around somewhere
I have all sorts of old stuff... old laptop with tiny little monochrome screen runningwindows 3.1 I think, could be one of the old IBM OSes. Atari and a lot of games. Magnavox Odysey and a lot of games. Virtual boy and a few games. A couple of realy old golf clubs, made entirely of wood. Old apple computer (black and green kind) way too much stuff to list. Strange how all the old stuff in the first post doesn't seem that old to me...
