I'd have to say that the most expensive thing of clothing I have is from soul-flower.com I typically wear stuff from places I've been and shows I've seen. My jeans typically come from places at the mall because sometimes aeropostale has a 70% off sale, which I totally and shamefully take advantage of. lol
I'm as casual as they come.... Jeans and t-shirts all the way Although I do tend to like more vintage clothes in any occasion. '70s style clothes are usually in my casual garb, although if I'm dressing up, I've managed to find some awesome Victorian-esque outfits to wear.
I call my clothing style dark-elegant I like the men in black cocept and I also have lots of influences out of Gothic and Dark Electro e.g. Chris Pohl from the german band Blutengel
My style is what-I-like-I-buy, while keeping in mind price (I'm super cheap) and where it's from. I don't buy clothes from places like Wal mart, blah blah. I *love* Value Villiage, though I was recently told it is owned by Wal Mart (wtf?!). I like lots of colours, hemp material (which is usually expensive). Most of my clothes I've had for years, and either I stitch up when ripped or I just take care of it. At the moment I have like..... three pairs of pants and some shirts who need tending. And I *love* flowy skirts.
I'm not sure what category I fall into. Maybe you can tell me. Here is a picture of how I usually dress for school: I'm the one in the middle with the black shirt and no shoes. It's actually rare that I wear jeans, it was just cold that day. I usually wear beach shorts and either a tye dye or surf shop tee. I wear shell and hemp necklaces and I never wear shoes, I just go barefoot.
I switch styles. I like a lot of different music and subjects so I'm not set on one clothing style. I like to keep some little element of punk with me at all times, though Most expensive item.. I have a pair of $40 Hi-Tops. Because I don't buy used underwear and footwear. I love second-hand stores otherwise.
I dont really know what style I am, I used to be a vintage lovin nut, everything was from thrift stores, now I wear alot of clothing from places I have traveled, Middle East and Africa mostly, and I LOVE handmade clothing, I love to support other artist and crafters. My favourite fabric to wear is hemp, which is expensive, but I love it.
arlia, i love your style! effortless cool. my style is erratic but always tasteful. one day i will wear a dress and heels, and another day ill wear jeans and a beater. it all depends on what i feel like. but i think i dress well for my size =]
awww bless you thank you! I wore heals once, and I had such bad pains in my feet for about 3 weeks. never ever again I tell you. I used to wear a mish mash of stuff, all colors all at once. i just loves color
hmmm my style really depends on my mood im only 16 but i dress really sophisticated some of the time but then i can be really relaxed people say i can pulll off a variety of looks and i like to try new things but yea you can tell how iim feeling by what im wearing hmm the most expensive thing i own would have to be my prom dress $400 but stuff i wear a lot hmm i have jeans that are $300
in winter i usually wear baggy clothes, especially male tartan shirts or huge sweaters... but in summer i try many different styles, all very unusual, like long flowered dresses, leather tops, colorful jeans, tie-dyes... my classmates are always kidding me for my crazy style!
It depends on the occasion, where I'm going and how I want to feel. I have no idea what's the most expensive item...
I either do tie dye, or some band shirt, with just some pair of jeans or sometimes shorts. Shoes are just sandals or moccasins. Most expensive... a Grateful Dead shirt, which I bought at a festival for 20$. Its cool though
all my t-shirts are band shirts... some are tie-dyed... costy tie-dye with a band on it go for like 20-25. like my jimi and pink floyd tye-dyes... i hardly ever wear button up shirts, but i do occasionally. most expensive shirt shirt i bought was an $100 black armani. and i just ended up giving it away to my friend. it kinda shrunk, i started hating the sleeves... got to short on me. in the jeans i go for levi's loose bootcut... the 567s... only pair of bootcut jeans that fit nice on me and have a wide 21" but i stretched it to 22" bootcut. what sucks is levi stopped making these... im trying to get as many as i can while i can... eh sandals and low profile or skate shoes for my feet. and everything hemp.
strangely, the most expensive clothes i have are the ones which are hippy-style!!! that's a nonsense, so i decided to make my hippy clothes myself... i have so much fun when i dye my t-shirts or paint on them... i sew and cut and add bottons and kinda little fabric stuff... i really enjoy myself and my "creations" are all very nice!
Most of my suits are not very expensife actually... My best suit did cost me about 150 EUR... I buy of the rack. One day, when I have made big money, I will get a taillored suit. Black with pinstripe, three piece, bloodred Futter ^^
At the moment I'm trying to make my own style. I have little furry pixie boots which are kind of rough and informal. I love them! Though I really need to remove the sequeins and embroided flowers as they are a little feminine. I like to stick them on to make people doubt my sexuality though. Next, I have funky green shorts which go below the knee. They are a bright but neutral forest colour and show my furry boots off brilliantly. Then I have a furry gilet thing, with bones for buttons and a battered suede look. It looks great and setup correctly I can show my belly button, though that's probably not a good thing. I top it off with a bakey boy hat, also in suede. If it's really cold, I stick on a furry/suede coat which compliments the whole lot really well and makes me look like either a vagrant or "ice-person". It used to belong to a friend so is kind of tatty but I love it for it's tatty ness and it compliments the rest of my uniform perfectly. I then have a furry/suede bag which I put my laptop and other daily requirements in. It really goes with the rest of the outfit, as you might have gathered from the strong fur/suede theme. Which I should point out, I'm pretty sure all of it is faux! I need to get a loin cloth next, as well as furry wrist warmers and a longbow for my back. Then I will be ready to face the world.
