Today me and my friend woke up. We were out of weed and wanted to get high. I saw a tussin bottle. We decided to drink half the bottle each. Felt nothing after 1 and 1 half hours. Then it hit me. It was great. A few questions How much MG did i take? Whats the best way to get dxm. PIlls or syrup? Do you have to be 18 to buy it? How much should i take the second time I want to trip bad
its hard to say how much DXM you had as it would depend on the brand. personally i prefer the syrup as its next to imposable to find the pills over here in Australia plus things like Triple C's have other nasty things in it that you dont want to take too much off. If you are planing to use DXM again in the future id advise you to have a look at www.erowid.org and have a look at dosage levels etc.
as billy stated it depends on the kind u took, and the trip will also depend on ur weight, and if u ate anything prior to... if its the normal 15mg/tsp in a 4oz bottle. it had 354mg. by drinking half you took in only about 177mg. which is a very low dose... RoboGelcaps are the best in pill form, there DXM only and they have no extra syrup to take in which makes it a plus on ur system. 20 caps in a bottle is about 300mg. some places do ask for ID and others dont... its up to u on how much u take, the trip is way different in high doses. try 20 caps. and remember not to eat anything for a couple hours before taking them. it usually does take about an hour or so to kick-in so now worries about that. a side effect u might get is itching. most people get it but whatever u do try not to itch! its annoying but afterwhile it'll go away. this is just my opinion but mixed with weed, its a great trip. remember to NOT be taking this everyday... some people get addicted and get sent to rehab.
any brand will work if the ONLY active ingredient is dextromethorphan hydrobromide on the label. if it has ANYTHING else in it, then dont take more than the recommended amount.
