Ok, so I'm a young dr. Who fan. I've only see dr. Ecclestone and dr. Tennant.. and I lurve themm! I would love to see the other series too.. ^_^
dr. Tennant is my favourite.. I mean; hmmmhmm!!!
Every female dr. Who fan has wild fantasies about David Tennant and his sonic screwdriver; you can't denie that

I was never into Dr Who until i started watching the new series with David Tennant. I stoppped watching the first series though because Billie Piper got on my nerves, but this series is good because they got rid of her. :)

I can't stand Billie Piper either. Over-rated commercial product, alongside the likes of Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham, and all the other latrine-clinging talentless air-head nobodies that the media refuse to flush away, or bury in peace. Everyone I ever talk to is never interested in the slightest about these "supposedly" celebrities. Kate Moss even brought her shitty clothes to NY and the people there just laughed (which really says something if you see how the average New Yorker dresses).

To quote the New York Post:

I nearly choked on my coffee when I read that. I was on a plane going from LAX to London, which made it even worse, because the flight attendant thought I was having a fit.

Although I live in sunny Cal, I spend a lot of time in London, due to the nature of my work. What makes me laugh about England is how seriously the newspapers take these people (Piper, Knightley, Middleton and the rest of them). I know a thing, or two, about the secrets of journalism to comfortably say that they are just filling in the pages to make the price of a Sunday supplement seem justifiable. Then again, a person would have to be a right "Billie Piper" not to have guessed that.

Dr. Who is classic, culture TV. If it is treated with the respect its audience deserve it will last as long as there's TV to watch.

Frankly, I liked Eccleston better. But it's all good.

I have a friend who was semi-forced to watch the old series and didn't really like it, so now it's ruined for her :(

I wasn't very impressed with the Series 4 opener Partners in Crime. Compared to last year's Smith and Jones, that is, with the Doctor running around the moon barefoot. yey :).

And I'm doubting Donna will win me over ... I love Martha. I miss her.

But Jack, Martha, AND Rose are coming back later in the season, so my hopes are high. Yeah. high. hehe.

The opener wasn't a great episode, except for the end. That was a jaw-dropper....

I only like 60's and 70's Doctor Who, I remember a weird episode with this crazy looking monk and a girl with pigtails and the monk was trying to kill people and there were people who looked like prehistorical hippies talking to the Doctor.

70s DW is incredible. New Who is a frustrating mixture of some aspects being handled as well or better than ever before (the more human, and emotional parts), and other aspects that have just been screwed up, in particular the science-fiction content.

And now Matt Smith is the Doctor.
Mixed feelings about him but he is better than I thought he would be.
Hate the humps on the new Daleks though. The look more like power rangers.

I have almost finished watching the Hartnell episodes. Troughton is up next, I remember seeing a few episodes years ago and loved him. Great actor. Never seen any Pertwee so that should be interesting too.

what do you all think of the Dr. dieing at the beginning of the new season? Think they will find someway around it or that the Dr. actually dies at 1103 years old?

Loved the 10th Doctor, but the newest one is doing a pretty good job of being a doctor. Waiting for a new one, hmm.
