1 year timeline

    So, about a year ago I sat down with a friend, watched Carrie and backcombed my hair. It's still fairly loose, I think when I counted it was in 27 sections. So, here's before:

    Now, after:

    I wear the hairband pretty much all the time, keeps hair out of my face when I'm writing etc.

    Whaddya think? I'm thinking in the next few years some of the loose bits at the end will get sucked up and they'll just be a bit longer so they'll be more I can do with them.

    kinda wonder if wearrin the headband too much might hurt u lil tho
    is it kinda dreadin unevenly in the front dreads especialy?

    Well, I'll be able to wear it less when they get a bit longer and can be tied back in other ways. In general they're just a bit wonky all over...

    i like them :) you did them naturally...pretty much. they look great :)
    you should be proud they are attached to your head :D
