yea i kno paul said it was about LSD, but forever lennon wouldn't let up the fact that it was about julians picture...idk y its such a big deal to say its about LSD cuz everyone assumed it was anyways....so maybe it really was about the picture, y would they go through all the trouble lying about it and drawing a picture and stuff for something that lame...lol i love the song tho....just makes me wanna trip lol
well its not socially acceptable for an artist to admit their work is about drugs. Well not at that time anyway.

No band ever said "oh yea that was about dope" some musicians my have confessed to using drugs, but thats about it. Even in Pink Floyd: Pompeii gilmour had to deny floyd being a drug oriented group, which was probably true after syd left.
