    can anyone else here smell/taste/hear colours?

    i know.....or HAVE known.....5 other people who can, too. it's amazingly strange! LOL .
    it was weird thinking, "man, it smells purple in here...." until i accidentally slipped that it smelled white in my living room and my dad freaked! ("I thought I was the only one!!! OMG!" haha.)

    i can't describe the smell of colours.
    the sound........well, like songs have colours. Led Zeppelin is mainly brown/reddish songs, the Dead have mainly blue/brown songs, etc. hard to explain....lol.
    and the taste is hard to explain, too.

    enough rambling~does anyone else have this awesome "6th sense"?

    I sort of know what you mean. I mean I relate numbers letters vegetables and colours together quite strongly. 4 = carrot = orange = triangle for example.

    Or like, blue = B = circle

    green = T = rectangle

    kinda deal.

    smelling purple, to me, would be like smelling purple popsicle hehe

    Yeah, I've Heard Of Synesthesia. Knowing Of Five Others Is Crazy, However, Synesthesia Affects A Very Small Amount Of Folks. Maybe It's Something In The Water. :D

    Most people have a little synaesthesia when very young but it fades. My experience was that certain lollipops tasted like a shape. But I never get it any more. If you look into it you'll see lots of inovitive artists have/had it Aphix twin is the one who really users it. Does any one who still have it notice if it diminishes with age ?
