Relationship question

If you know you are going to break up in a few weeks/months for whatever reason, do you think you should stay together until the end or break up immediately?

 

depends how good the sex is.

 

The sex is excellent, but that is not really the point.
It is an extra.

 

If you're happy...why break up?

 

But what if you both know you have to break up in the future for whatever reason?

 

if everyone is cool with the inevitable breakup, there is no harm in having fun and enjoying eachother for what time you have left together

 

yeah, the only reason i could see for expecting or wanting a breakup is unhappiness or not truly liking the other person. thats why i mentioned sex. relationships are the combination of love and sex, and if theres no love, is the sex good enough to make you want to stay?

 

Hypothetically, one of the two persons in that relationship could move away for some reason. Or one of the persons could go travelling. Or one of the persons could go to jail.

There are many possibilities.

 

hypothetically, i hope it is her and not you going to jail.

if you know youre gona break up, mine as well get it over with. you'll probably be more attatched to her in a couple more months and breaking up will be harder.

 

Hypothetically, it is neither of us going to jail.

But hypothetically, I am wondering who here would choose to stay together until the bitter end and who would break up before things might get too emotionally attached.

 

I've been in MANY situations of that kind because I've moved a lot. I always stuck out to the end.

 

Stick it out until the end.

 

I want to say stick it out. But I know I'd probably break up.

 

If something is not working with the relationship, I'd break it immediately and try to find something better. It's not worth wasting time when I could find someone better.

 

Id make a big inside joke about it. Just blatently fight over nothing, fuck, sleep do w.e

then you might not even break up.

 

There's not point dragging it out. Just my $0.02.

 

I've always stuckit out na done time it led to a complete change of plans because of thedepth of feelins involved when the time came. It was worth it too, even though it didn't work out in the lng run.

 

id probably just stay till the bitter end, getting as much out of it as possible before it's gone.

 

Does she make you happy. Tell her you love her Bird.

Sweep her off her feet. Kiss her bird. kiss her and tell her how you feel.

 

Somehow I can't picture him doing that...
