If you're paying $10 for it, then it is a dime. If you were paying $5 for it, then it would be a nick.

I'm with TNS. Nickels and dimes aren't standard amounts of weed. Some jackass got confused at some point in stoner history (no surprise there) and suddenly these nonsense terms are getting passed around.

Niks and dime are the most retarted way to buy weed ever. All weed is different quality, and will cost different ammonts. All a nickle or dime bag is, is 5 or 10 dollars worth of whatever weed it is. Actual measurements are a gram, an eight (3.5 grams) aka a cut, a quarter (7 grams), a half (14 grams), an oz. (28 grams).

a gram of mids is 10. a gram of dro is 15. the OP said he got dro.

if you get a gram of dro for 10 bucks your a lucky son of a bitch lol but i'm assuming you thought he was talking about mids

:( I'd take anything right now. I wanted to get high so bad(w/o it for around 2 weeks) so i scraped all the leftover small pieces in a leftover bag and made a one-hitter(that i tried to make three.)

Mids can be grown hydroponically too. I HATE when people refer to weed as "dro" just because it's good, as "dro" is short for hydroponic, which is simply a method of cultivation. I don't know why it annoys me so much, but I can't stand it.

For a while I was getting some purple shit at $15 an eighth, so that averages out to less than $5 per gram. One day, when buying from my cousin.....I only had $5 on me, so I asked him if I could buy a cigarette pack full of blunt roaches for the $5, and he agreed. I broke all of the weed out of the roached blunts and it came up to a little more than 5g, so I got over 5g of some good weed for $5. haha I was a happy mofugga. Plus, being roached weed, it was caked with resin, so it was that much more potent. I was stoned for a couple days for $5:spliff:

lol nice you got lucky eh? wish i could find someone to sell me 5 g's for 5 bucks

even when mids are grown hydroponically, the plants come out more potent because of the cultivation method. i suppose it isn't always true, but typically when weed is grown hydroponically it's more potent than when grown in soil. also the buds come out with no seeds which is one way it's identified as dro.

i usually look at it like this and judging by potency

anything that doesnt have seeds = dro
anything with seeds = either mids or haze

anyone with half a brain can tell the difference between mids and haze lol

actually, scratch most of that. while writing this post i can see what you're talking about. if someone uses some shitty seed to hydroponically grow weed, it'll prob come out shitty and they'll call it "dro." then someone else could use a white widow seed and grow it hydroponically and it will technically still be "dro." now compare the two of those...obviously a huge difference...yet technically they're still both "dro."

man topnotch, now that you got me thinking about that, it's gonna annoy the hell out of me too haha

That pissed me off soooooo much. I hate the word dro. I gave up on explaining that to people, because so many people say dro.
