Signs you aren't smart enough to moderate a forum

Who joins a forum and immediately posts an attack on moderators...expecting to be taken as a joke?

Apparently he doesn't realize how very huge this place is and how many trolls and banned-alias people you guys have to deal with.

When I clicked on this thread I thought it was going to be funny, sort of a “Letterman 10 signs that…” kind of thing.

Like: You’re too stupid to be a Moderator if you have to Google Hipforums every time you want to log on.

On the serious side though, being a Moderator is hard enough on any forum, but on a free speech forum like Hipforums it’s nearly an impossible task.

So I’d like to thank you guys and gals for doing a pretty good job at an impossible task.

Besides, who said it was an attack on your moderators? I posted this is on another forum, fairly early into my membership, and they certainly liked it, so I thought it would probably fly here, too. Maybe you should ask mamaKCita for some pills as well, the paranoia seems to be catching.

And of course I dont know how many trolls or banned aliases you have at this place...check out the profile, it has the sign-up date and everything. Of course, that ruins mamaKCita's little conspiracy theory about me being a bitter ex-member, but such is life...

I did not see his post as any attempt at a personal attack but rather just information that in some part could be directed at alot of SYSOPS on alot of sites, none at all and all sites. I found it extremely funny the mods took immediate offense to it and instead of intelligently destroying the inaccurate issues of the post they found it easier to lash out over it, way to go!

 

No, it would only be an oxymoron if this were an anarchist forum...
