I watched The Hills Have Eyes 2 on wednesday and thought it was thoroughly entertaining. It was thrilling, and hilarious! "shitman the barbarian!" hahaha, 'tis priceless. So, anyone else have some other recommendations? Try not to be too obscure, because I'm getting it from the library and they don't have the best selectione ever. But just shoot out whatever you can think of. Also, don't be afraid to throw out more serious movies, just know I intend to be pretty baked when I watch it. Another movie I loved while baked was Conan the Barbarian. The first half of that was the most epic thing I've ever seen! Then the weed started to wear off and it wasn't as good, haha.
I watched "no country for old men" stoned. The imagery is fantastic and it made me want to go out west so bad. The way its filmed just makes you feel like you're there.
i saw that movie drunk and pretty fuckin high... it was a great movie.. but then the ending just kinda made me go "huuuuuuuuh?"
yeah i first watched that film baked as fuck too, its a good film, but i need to watch it again sober to understand why any of that happened. but i wish i had a silenced shotgun >
Because life doesnt neatly wrap up. And they totally set it up with symbolism during the whole scene where Lewellyn was walking between the mexican and us border and the kids were like "Mr. Were you in a car accident?" and the whole making him pay for the shirt.
Check out the films for "Movies to Die for" Horrorfest ... Lionsgate puts out 8 independent horror films a year and they are really kick ass. I will go and google them up for titles of the ones I've seen. BTW an old excellent film is "Shockwaves" with Peter Cushing - undead SS troops off of the bermuda triangle/
i like the nightmare on elm st films, and scary movies like halloween and jason is not scary when im high haha their funny as shit. i actually thought cloverfield was pretty cool, i didnt knowshit about a giant spider i thought it was like terrorists attacking new york at first, that was my thoughts from seeing the previews and then a giant spider im like wtf? i thought it was a what if film, like what if terrorists attkaced ny.
Devil's Rejects is always good, stoned or not. The music alone is worth watching the movie, but everything else is wonderful too; So long as you enjoy graphic violence, which I thoroughly do enjoy.
for a good laugh while also being a horror movie watch the leprechaun movies. They were so bad they were great.
yea the shirt thing was packed with symoblisim. the killer insists that he give the kid 100$ for the shirt, then as he's walking off the kids argue over who gets the money. it shows how greedy humans are, which basicly wraps up the whole movie, because the guy gets killed just because he decides to take the 2 million $
the blob.. no, in all seriousness though yeah the devil's rejects movie is good.. i like the old scary ones like poltergeist and the exorcist.
