I hear that both Human Rights Watch and Amnesty has repeatedly accused the chinese goverment of numerous violations of human rights. Torture, political prisoners to name a few.
What I am looking for now is proof. Anyone who can reccomend websites or books that actually deliver hard evidence of human rights violations in China?

I watched the live news coverage of Tianamen Square. I saw the students protesting with a paper mache statue of liberty. I saw the tanks and the gun fire. The world witnessed it. How we could ever grant them unconditional Most Favoured Nation trade status I will never understand. Prior to Clinton it had to be renewed and reconsidered each year.
