learning about wars(have to in school) i realised that any and every war was started over a struggle for power or at least has something to do with a struggle of power thoughts?
They are often over ideology, or trying to stop something that is just wrong, but it really depends on what war it is or was you are looking at. They have been fought for many reasons some good and many more for evil. They were not all fought for power but many were. There is no one reason for them all, money plays a part in some also. Peace

If humans can last another century,I think historians will look back on this era and postulate that the many types of governments that have been tried/forced on us throughout the world,have been corrupted by something as simple as the one aspect of our nature that keeps us from progressing as a species=greed.I also think that the capitalists will be seen as quite insane and lacking in empathy and understanding of how this world could and should work.Success now apparently means the accumulation of vast amounts of whatever currancy ,land,and power over others that one can get.On the face of it,is it right that some have millions or billions and are secure in their beliefs that this is the way it should be,while at the same time people are starving the world over ,with no way to overcome their circumstances?Where have we gone wrong?Why haven't those with $ and power seen fit to see that the starving millions are fed,educated,and secure in their persons and homes.Who made the rules?How can they be changed?Should they be?In my humble opinion, human evolution needs to speed up and look at the condition of this earth and it's people with new eyes,somehow.Seems to me ,we could make life a little more fair for all,if the drive was there.
I know what you mean. You watch TV and you see starving children, then suddenly the commercials are over and all you see is people on the TV pretending to be other people and making more than enough money to feed god knows how many of the starving children you saw previously.
