I've never been caught by the cops but I had a sketchy run in last week. Me and a friend were blazing behind a movie theatre before we went to see The Ruins, haha. yeah. anyways, This guy came around the corner which was kinda scary, especially when we were being really sketchy by smoking on the street pretty much. But then this car came around the corner and it was totally an undercover police car. and we got really freaked out and it looked like they were gonna pull over and talk to us, but at the exact same moment a taxi came around the corner in the other direction and we just bolted. Needless to say I think that was the closest I've come to having a heart-attack.
wth? u musta just started smoking the cops dont care if u smoke as long as u dont wave it oin theyre faces i smoke on the street or in the park all the time they see me i see them just when threy look your way its polute to put ot out of site so they can just wander by without having to work but hey..you bolted giving em a reason to have to chase ya... wrong move next time.... realize your doing nothing wrong.. so dont act like yas are realize some ppl think it is wrong so.. dont wave it in theyre faces but dont try to hide it either.. just set the pipe down a sec wait for em to look away and resume doin what your doin in fact...if u talk to the cop.. just walk up to the car and straight out ask em most will tell u they dont give a shit if u smoke they just hate when u make extra work for em
thats not true everywhere. Lots of cops care and will bust people for just smoking. Shit, I got busted for smoking way out in BFE doing nothing else. A 5-0 comes around best to put that shit up and calmly walk away like you are doin shit else but leaving.
Soaringeagle that is MOST DEFINITELY not the case in all places. Around here I've been searched illegally, harassed, had cops beat up my friends over nothing, etc. etc. And the black kids around here have it even worse. It's not so bad in all the cities around here, but nearly all of them have quotas to fill. And yeah - this is in one of the most liberal part of the entire country.... Not saying that your lying, it sounds like you like in a pretty dope place, but it ain't like that everywhere bro.
I had a similar situation a couple weeks ago, I was chilling in my car behind a movie theater waiting for someone, I had just puffed and a red truck creeped up and stopped behind me, the guy got out and it was a fully uniformed cop, before he could come up to my car, i dropped my window, he asked if i was waiting for someone and i said yes, he was half way to my car and turned around, good thing he didn't come any closer !
when our drum circles used to be huge and outta control, the cops would show up every night soon as theyd show 500 dumn kids would scatter leavin behind piles of trash and sometimes bags of weed 15 or 20 of us would stay behind to clean upo the cops would hang out with us letting us usetheyre flashlights toi find the trash and bags of weed i remember one time findin a bag and remarking about it something like oh look theres another bag of weed.. the cop looks at it says " oh theres been weeed here?" turns and walks away, leaving it there for me to pick up... theyd nevrer chase any1 even the idiots they saw take off runnin threu the woods.. but if u did something illegal right in front of em they hadta give yas a ticket not every cops that way ofcourse but the majority are.. and ive found coast to coast most places have some pretty decent cops they treat u as human if u treat them as human but they can be super assholes too if u expect em to be or if u treat em in a way that sets them off and acting like youir doing something wrong will do that... 1/2 the cops in the country support legalization if u take the time to have an inteligent conversation about it with em
My buddy had a end of the year party, there was a toooon of people there and we were making a tooon of noise. So i was a little tipsy and hella baked and leaving the party with my friends. As we leave like 5 cops pull up his driveway. They tell us not to move so I decide to turn around and slowly walk back in the house lol. That angered a Pig and he told me to come over. I had some weed in my pocket so as I was walking to the pigs I threw my weed in a bush without them seeing it. The pigs ask everyone if they were drinking everyone said yes. They asked me and I lied my ass off. I told them I wasnt into drinking and gave them all this bullshit and they totally bought it. At this time I was undeage so they had to call my mom to get me. And the cop told my mom how smart of a person I was for not doing anything at the party hahaha. My eyes were completely bloodshot 2. When I got in the car my mom asked me why my eyes were so bloodshot. hahhahahaaha. I got away scotch freee. I feel bad cuz all my friends got in trouble but me...bah sucks for them!
there's been a couple. We were hostong a rave out in new waverly, Tx. there were over 200 people, all of us having a grand ole time. we were in an open field in the middle of nowhere and someone called the popo. There was a break with the dj, and it was announced there was a caravan of Texas State Troopers coming. Everyone scattered. we were leaving as the cops blocked the street and searched people. I was drunk and sooooooooooooooooo baked. there was an old RV in the back of the property where we were and there was a smoking circle with like 30 people. there were a bunch of pipes, blunts and joints being passed around. we all got out of the RV, someone managed to lock it. we were let go coz we had nothing, and we went back the next day and there were about six bags of weed, 7 joints and 9 glass pieces in the RV. ahh. fun times. Here in the city most cops wont do much, as long as they dont see you selling.
cops really aren't bad people...and the biggest thing like soaringeagle said said is, if you act shady you will get pulled over/arrested. I always wave to cops when I see 'em
