Yeah, I remember watching that show. I liked the first five seasons, they were amazing. I was a bit disappointed at the open ending, but there are rumors about a second X-File movie, so I'm hoping they'd resolve some mysteries there.
i only started watching it a month ago. i like it, the serious conspiracy stuff and social. couldn`t watch it if there were just the random stories and silliness. i`m not even interested by `paranormal` things in real life.. i`m on series 5.
The X Files is one of my favourite shows, I have the dvd box sets of every season and I think the later seasons were still good, I though the last one was mostly pretty good, it would of been good to continue with Doggett
I love the X-Files. I remember when I was a kid my dad used to watch it back when it was still running. I always loved oll the crazy stuff in it. When I was like, seven or eight my dad taped one (the one with Big Blue, the monster in the lake) episode that I loved and watched constantly. Now, I've just gotten into it again, and I stay up to watch the episodes they play at 1:00am on SciFi, and the episodes they somtimes play on TNT.
The X-Files were awesome while they were about the X-Files. Once it became whether or not Mulder and Skully would "hook up", it became a soap opera. The last two years sucked. And what was with his sister ending up in the "star light" to finish off that story line? That was ridiculous.

I'm totally gonna lose cool points for this but i care not, ^ I like that song. I still catch the X-Files on Sci-Fi and Tnn late night sometimes too. Really good stuff to watch if you're a college student who's a night owl. Plus Gilliam Anderson is just hot, looks and brains!
Some of the episodes were overly creepy, but in general I like it. It's funny because I never watched it in chronological order, so I always get little bits and pieces of the conspiracy plotline whenever I watch the reruns.

Oh man, I used to absolutely love X-Files. I still do, but I was really disappointed in the last movie. They were basically phoning it in and collecting a paycheck. The first few seasons of the show were by far the best. Very similar to Twin Peaks, another show that I'm wild about.
I used to love the X-files also. That actually began airing 17 years ago. Make you feel old? Anyone remember the ep where they first met the nerds and they were carrying around those huge chunky mobile phones?
