morphine suckers?

Anyone ever heard of morphine suckers? A friend of mine has them and wants to know the street value. She said they are 400 mg but that does not sound right to me. I was on the morphine patch for 2 years and it was 75 mg and that was plenty for me.

 

dont know about mg or going rate. ALl I'll say is that I was at a party a couple years back and a girl I knew broke me off a little chunk that I'd guess was about half the size of a peppermint and I was absolutely faded...

No it's not and information like that will cause overdoses. Fentanyl is many many times more powerful than morphine and is dosed in micrograms. A miligram of fentanyl IV would probobly kill most people or put them in a coma. Try not to be such a dumbass.

I was on the fentynol patch, 75 mg for 2 years, and my doctor told me it was morphine. I had to watch a video about it before I could get the prescription but I forgot you have a p.h.d. Anyway you look at it, it is a form of morphine. Stop being so bitchy.

 

morphine and fentanyl are completely different. saying they are the same is like saying codeine is the same as smack. and I promise you that you weren't on 75 mg of fentanyl. it is dosed in mics.

ur dumb fentanyl is 80 times stronger than morphine...the 400micrograms (ug) not miligrams (mg)

 

morphine is an opiate not opioid...opioid means its synthetic opiate means it's found in the poppy plant

 

Opioid is the umbrella term for all drugs that work by binding to opioid receptors in the brain. Morphine is an opioid analgesic.

More than likley yes. But it was still extremly irresponsible to post such a thing as fact. People die that way. Plus she said fentanyl (not fentanol, OP) was the same thing as morphine. I mean seriously, if you don't know the difference then you have no buissness messing with either of them recreationaly. Again, people die this way. This forum has a strong harm-reduction potential and we don't need to fuck that up with rediculous "facts" like she posted.

Might I also point out that she hinted that the prescribing physician was a p.h.d. When she said something along the lines of (paraphrasing) "I forgot you had a p.h.d." Since when are those possessing a p.h.d. allowed to prescribe extremly powerful opiates? Psych meds maybe, in some states, but not C-II fucking opiates. Thats what we have MD's for . . .
Fuck, next she'll probobly be telling us that an RN prescribed her oxymorphone . . .

Its spelled Fentanyl and no its not morphine. it does come frome morphine but is upto 100 times more potent and does not have very good euphoria compared to even morphine net alone diamorphine !!! I.V its just like being hit with a sledge hammer for an hour then u wake up with a nasty headache, well i did any way! Some types of illicit fentanyl's are reported to be up to 1000 times more potent than morphine. Please consider other people when you put severely incorrect information on the net in case 1 day some1 gets a 2mg fentanyl amp and injects the lot thinking it wont do much !! GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT YOU OBVIOUSLY DIDNT WATCH THAT VIDEO VERY HARD!!!

this forum should be monitored for people like this. melkm, you realize that giving out information when you have no fucking idea what you are talking about in relation to opiates and other drugs can get people killed?

fentanyl is 80 times stronger than morphine. it is dosed in MICROgrams, whereas morphine, like most drugs, is dosed in MILLIgrams. thats a difference of an entire order of magnitude...

also dude, you trying to cover your mistake by saying your doctor made you watch a video that said fentanyl was morphine is ridiculous. Just because you are a fucking idiot and couldnt understand the film and therefore THOUGHT that fentanyl is a form of morphine doesnt mean it is true.

here's what you are thinking of, I think. Most drugs that are opiod analgesics are metabolized by the liver and then BECOME morphine in your brain. however, each different drug produces a different amount of opiate receptor stimulation, thus resulting in their different relative effects and strengths.

watch your information and maybe actually read a goddamn book before you try to get innocent kids killed with your misinformation
