Apart from waxing (short term pain) / hair remover (long term pain) there's nothing as close as a proper wet shave with a razor. When shaving you don't just give it the once over, but you should keep repeating the strokes until you can't feel any further trace of stubble with the fingertips - silky smooth.
Hey all... When shaving your pubes do you use so kind of gel or stuff you use to shave you faces with? Just curious as i shaved for the first time a couple of days ago and just used soap... Now its itchy as anything... Could one of you guys like do a step by step walk through as it would be really helpful. Thanks.
Yea the itching does go away after a few times of doing it. Even if the itching didn't go away I would still shave. I love the feeling of having no fuzziness down there. It's much better than the pain I fell with and overgrown bush moving around when I walk.
When you first start shaving the skin is very sensitive & can be itchy, but after you've shaved a few times the skin becomes accustomed to it. In the times when I've allowed my pubes to grow I've found that they tend to feel as if I have some wire wool round there, always making the skin within the crotch red raw & sore - especially when cycling, or when sweaty in general. A regular shave & dusting down with talc afterwards does away with such discomfort totally for me.
I trim head to toe, but don't shave. I like to have a little texture around the pubes, and use a hair clipper. finishing off with a beard trimmer.
Unfortunately for me, I'm extremely hairy, including my genital region. Once I discovered shaving on my own, I found that I like it much better when it's smooth down there. It looks bad with all that hair, and it feels much more erotic when it's smooth and clean. Only problem is, I can never really get it perfectly smooth because I just use a trimmer, for like, facial hair. I'm to afraid to try shaving cream and a real razor for the fear that I might end up hurting myself. Hell, I haven't even started using a real razor on my face yet. But yeah, definitely better shaven, imo. That and I don't want my ladies hairy, and I know most of them don't prefer their men hairy either.
When I was about 25 decided to get rid of all that unwanted hair -so I did permanently. I built an electrolysis machine and I have no pubic hair at all. It feels wonderful being that close to all the action.
Okay, I shaved yesterday for the first time but I feel I didnt get it right. So, should I just trim it or take it all off and should I use a razor or a machine?
