i went to echo lake last year. sure there was a seatbelt check road block, but aside from that very little sketchiness. two people died swimming in the lake at the spring fling, and one overdosed. i don't know where i'm gonna go now. anyone else have any ideas? i really liked echo lake and shit- had a great time.

i'm still undecided. i'm looking for the place with the most fun, most availible stuff, and the best music. which one should i go to? whats moose river like compared to echo lake? i saw families at echo lake last year, whats wrong with the place, sure a kid got stabbed but thats a freak occurence. which one should i go to and why?

Greetings! My old room mate of years ago got busted right outside of echo lake last yeas maybe two minutes before he got to the gate. It wasn't a goos scene. I love echo lake with a passion, but it is true, the sketchyness is definately a factor to consider. I'm sure that you'll have a supurbe time at either one, but plan out, and talk to as many people as you can before you make your decesion.

went to the harvest in Lyonsdale. Was really cool, been to echo lake. echo lake is nice, a little too enclosed. moose river is bigger, more open to scenery... my spot was rite at the lake front, straight across the lake from the stage.. only thing was security, they didnt bother you, everyone did their own thing... security is there now because of the past misfortunate incidents at past festivals... now the word is out for all these camp sites in the upstate area.... still an awesome place to have it, no roadblocks no problems..just always have seatbelt on and good inspection sticker....
highlight of the weekend was richie havens singing pink floyds "on the turning away"..... with no music, just him solo.... john lennons b day was sat too.... so it was a cool weekend, will be there next year!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vernville will most likely be hibernating this winter...then we will be busting out for the Spring/Summer.

I can't tell you the next place we will be, but next year definitely look for us at GOTV, The Annual Woodstock Reunion in Bethel, NY, and Harvest Fest again for sure.

    I'll keep ya'll updated!
