gwar?

anyone here like gwar? music is ok, but best damn live show i have ever seen. nothing beats george w bush getting his head chopped off onstage and bleeding onto the crowd. its absurd, which is why its fuckin awesome

 

Gwar has pretty good music with an awesome fucking stage show. I saw them in Charlotte NC in December of 06 and it was crazy.

Best damn concert I have ever been to aside from Lamb of God

 

Probably a good stage show but the music sucks balls in my opinion.

 

I love seeing Gwar. I saw them twice. Once at a decent sized venue and once at a fucking small venue. The one at the small venue was fucking insane. I was bloodier than a tampon, and my friend snapped his ankle by it getting caught in the gate and the crowd pushing it over.

 

That sounds like when I saw lamb of god in charlotte. The only difference was there was no gate. and security was lax as hell.

Gwar? Ah hell yeah, love their sound. Reminds me of Mastadon. mr. metallideth over here rally doesn;'t know what good music is

 

Lol, the security at this venue are really annoying. They always try and start fights with you if you look at them the wrong way or something stupid like that.

 

I'd love to go to a Gwar show, I'd laugh my ass off.

Their music is probably some of the worst shit I've ever heard though.

 

when i think of gwar i usually say this about them...

one of the worst metal bands with the best live show. those dudes fuckin rip. the drummer has "fuck off you ****" on his snares too

the lead guy from gwar had the lead lordi guys head on a pole and he was all like "fuck this pussy mutherfucker!!!" thats fuckin great.

Gwar are great fun - I saw them in Nottingham, UK last year and they were supported by an equally entertaining band called Evil Scarecrow. If you like Gwar give them a look. No comparison musically - it's a totally different style but the outlook and approach to what they do is the same. Very funny.
