sounds like a contact high. The phenomenon, of being around people who are tripping and feeling like you are tripping yourself, is fairly common...and awesome.

anyone in your energy field when you are tripping will get high off your energy and this will increase with the more you connect with the person.

personally i dont like to trip around people who are not tripping as i feel a drag as they take some of the energy from my high.

 

The energy you get is constantly flowing and cannot be spent. Feeling like a drag is from personal experience about that person. Having more people around gets twists and turns to the energy mixing. Awsome stuff.

that is not exactly true. if it was we would be high all the time.

maybe i notice this because i am ultra sensitive and perceptive. most people dont realize or pay attention to how different they actually feel when tripping around sober people. i am sure if you were to pay attention you would notice the difference.

sober people are on a totally different wavelength and their mentality at the time is enough to distract any tripper as they pull them into normal conversation and distraction. even if they dont speak their sober thoughts are effecting the energy in the room. lsd allows us to let go of our ego, other people around who can not let go of their ego because they are not on lsd will remind us of our ego and all the games that come along with sober reality.

there is a definite difference between tripping alone or with someone else on lsd and tripping with someone who is not tripping. anyone who does not notice this got sucked into the ego game in such a way that they were unaware of what they were missing.

there really is no reason to be tripping around people who are not tripping. tripping should be an experience and an adventure alone or with tripping friends - tripping should not be a thing to do at a party or social gathering, thats what weed is for!

set and setting is very important with lsd and considering the powerful effect lsd has on who you are, do you really want to take chances by having people around you influencing your trip who have no real idea of what you are going through? truth is that if they are a good friend who honestly respects your psychedelic drug use they would be tripping with you!

after many trips in many different set and settings i have learned that the best and most rewarding trips are the ones alone or with other trippers.

i can handle being around sober people no problem with a lower dose - maybe that is the problem - your not taking enough. thats the thing with lsd - sometimes a small dose can seem like a heavy dose. 3-5 hits is best and if you can take that much around sober people and honestly not notice a huge difference in the trip something is very wrong!

an example - we are tipping around toronto and we walk into a store and i can feel the clerks energy as i start to shake just a little as my trip adjusts to his energy and consciousness. i couldnt wait to get out of the store and when i got out i felt great again. but like i say - most people are not capable of making such observations for some reason. and dont give me that subjective crap - some things about lsd and reality are just the way they are and there is no personal interpretation about it!

 

In fact, I quite enjoy the enhanced observation of sober conversation during an acid trip. There's one reason for you.

I'm sorry 3xi. But it's not the truth. That is how you perceive it. I was yesterday on 5 hits with only a friend of mine on lsd and others were sober. Ok, those were people who know lsd and we could click with no problem, they could follow the conversation and even pick you up for a ride. Sometimes you cannot take yourself for a ride if you are alone. Only if you have a problem showing your true self, when you strip that ego and if you believed before that that you can't trust yourself and trust people around then it might be uncomfortable.
But energy is constantly exchanged. And even sober people you can take easily with you. Once it is flowing it is so easy. That is not just your energy, something you have and you have to save not to spend it too much. You are sending and receiving from them at the same time. And if you know how even if they are stiff you can melow them.
In fact if you take lsd alone you are having more of the internal trip and if you take it with others you are able to have internal and external trip at the same time. If you know what I mean.
It is so beautiful that finally my friend was able to hold a hands with me (not physicaly) like a little kids and spin in that spiral together to that point that she was not even sure is she her or she is me. To recognize that we are One. To feel that One.
And when I met my husband yesterday his lsd trip stopped but cause I redosed I was still on for some time and he was pleasantly supprised, picking up that energy and experiencing high again.
