I hate it, HATE IT when women wear foundation.

What I don't get is when women shave off their eyebrows and then pencil them back in....usually with a high arch that gives them a surprised look. It is just wrong IMO.

A little make-up can help even out the skin tone, or brighten up the face. Like most things, moderation is key. People should try not to wear so much eye liner that they look like a racoon, blend the foundation line, don't clump mascara, wear eyeshadow that compliments their skin tone, and lip liner should be close to the color of lipstick they have on. Pretty basic beauty rules that are often ignored.

 

I don't like foundation much either, atleast not on me. If applied really well I think it looks nice on some others but I think my skin is quite fine without it. I do wear eyeliner and eyeshadow though, every day, but thats all I do. I quite like the way it shapes my eyes and face and I just got used to it.
I don't really mind what other people do with their face, although I typically wouldn't do it, like things like shaving off eyebrows. I don't see the point, but if someone whats to do that.. good for them.

 

Oh, and thanks Finnish. Sometimes when mine twists that little silver thing sticks out of the bottom. I need to get a new one but i dont even know how to take this one out, its all weird on the inside. and ive never taken one out before. haha :]

 

I thought about this thread this morning when I was putting on my makeup. Did it anyway. Guess I don't care whether anybody likes it or not; I do. And, it's easier to say that if you just scrub your face you'll look great at 20 than at 48-fresh and healthy vs. haggard.

 

lol, Sunshine, you just twist it, slowly, and pull it out, very slowly, and it will probably hurt cause those rings are a little more thick, and it twists..... it was weird my first time.. lol

I agree with His Eden, ya know I think it just should look natural if you're going to do it but not like a clown. :-/

 

All i wear is clear mascara, basically clear powder to cover up pimple scars, and lip gloss. I rarely wear any of that.
I'm not wearing any in my pictures.

 

I hate make up too!

i have basically never worn, i did a strange photo shoot were i had to look pale and they put stuff on which i didnt want and for a dumb play thing, again i didnt want it.

i hate the feel of it on my face, i hate that women feel they cant go out without it or that they need to cover up their natural beauty and that it has so many chemicals that damage your skin!

i have vowed never to wear it and i have pretty good skin.

i love my face, why would i cover it up?

i think its great that you all like the natural look and i do think that natural beauty is always better than superficial beauty.

however, i know how to do my makeup and i think it looks great

 

this thread makes me frown, but I agree with this ^ some people are more naturally beautiful than others and if someone feels better with a lil make-up on than I think that's great! I went through a faze when I was young and insecure of wearing a total horrid mask of make-up. I've grown out of it now and only wear green eye flicks and a lil powder to even out my skin and it makes it look softer. But I think going through the mask of make-up faze made me learn a lot about myself and now I appriciate myself a lot more that I'm out of it. Make up has been around for years and I think wearing it you can still be natural. I use only good vegan make up and still feel totally natural. when I see young teens going around with masks of awful foundation I realli feel for them. It's sad but cute or something as their learning how to do it and it's mostly done in that awful time of feeling weird and insecure in your own skin. If makeup can make you feel better than that is wonderful! If you have a pimple so put a lil concealor over it and you feel like you can face the day without thinking everyone will be staring at something you'd rather them not than-wow, what a great invention! yey for make-up. tbh, make-up bashers annoy me.

 

I think it's hilarious when you see these girls with orange/very tanned faces and then like extremely pale arms/shoulders and legs. Cracks me up.

 

I quite like eyeliner, eyeshadow mascara and lipstick but I also dislike foundation. Why cover up the skin? If its bad just care for it well and it will look much nicer already. I myself only wear eyeliner, cat eyes, I just prefer looking in the mirror with them then without

 

I agree, I can't stand wearing make up and I'm not attracted to women who do wear make up, I like my ladies natural.

 

why are you so full of hatred? (and stupidity, some might ask, but I'm not going to go there as that would be quite rude.)

i see lots of beautiful women who look like clowns. take off the mask.

 

most people have some type of mask on at least make-up you can see. these women feel uncomfortable in their own skin and who can blame them when there is so much pressure on women to be perfect these days?

I don't see the point in hating people wearing foundation. It's as fake as any other kind of make up.
