My Absolut Vision: To Protect Whales

Absolut (yes the vodka people) are running a global campaign that’s ‘challenging the status quo’ by presenting thought provoking visions of life in “An Absolut World”.

They showcase five visions, and whichever is voted for the most, they will make come true mid-2008.

Don’t know about you guys but it took me about 30 seconds and I knew which vision was most important to me: To protect and nurture whales, even if it means protecting them from ourselves.

Believe it or not, this vision is the LEAST voted for so far.

I don't know if Absolut Vodka is an Australian product or not, but the site indicated is pointing in a positive direction. In general Australians seem to be a little more anti-whaling than other major countries.

 

It’s crazy in Australia, people love the whales and get so upset about the Japanese. As a vegetarian I have the same view as I do with every other animal and find it a major hypocrisy that people will jump up and down about whaling while they are eating a dead cow, chicken, pig ect..!
