Do all Points of Views be it secular or philosophical have assumptions?
If this is so, what are your assumptions?

Assumptions are what people transpose on top of things according to how they believe the world to be. Everyone is an individual at this level. Six billion different opinions walking about.

Next level up, there is agreement in numbers. Individuals with common interests group together for strength. Herd complex.

Both of these belong to the mental side of our being. They are toys with which the mind plays with to amuse itself. It needs constant stimulation to be happy.

The only time assumptions vanish is when the soul becomes evolved enough to move beyond mind and see directly. Direct perception of reality. Uncolored by the mind's desire to paint it the way it sees it.

Such people are still required to use the ego as a means of sharing what they experience, and this often takes the form of philosophy, a language of the mind. You have to speak as it does in order to be understood.

With any luck, exposure to higher ideas provokes a spiritual response and their journey begins.

This doesn't work for everyone of course. Only for those who are strong of intellect. If you wish to approach simple people, you must once again go down to their level in order to lift them up to yours. You must find what language they speak and adopt it.

You must be able to empathize with their assumptions.

Then of course, there's the arrogance of presumption.

Although I recognize that many people prefer the loftiness of self-important absolutism with regards to spirituality, I myself respectfully recommend humility in these matters.
