What age is ok for marijuana to start off at?

I'd say you're okay. I started at 14, quit on Friday January 7 2005, and started again on Saturday September 22 2007, so I had a somewhat long hiatus.

 

i started at 14 i think and havent really smoked heavily maybe like 1 or 2 a month but latly its been 1once or 2 a weekend but tht will probly change after 420

 

yeh i would say marijuana is ok for about that age on what ive studied.i think that drinking at 12 is a lil crazy but, u know we are all diff. thanx everybody

 

i dont think it would matter that much.

i just think before any heavy drug use you should let your mind develop and then take it slowly.

 

Shit. I started when I was ten. Like doing it every 2 weeks when I got to a friends house. Since I moved I do it way less though. I can't say it affected me at all. I don't think that someon ewho was 12 would have a problem. Your are nowhere near fully developed at that point but you are getting into the whole adult mindset.

 

I started when I was 16 and if I had it to do over again would wait until I was older. Its too easy for it to become a priority over other things. Getting a better education, make more money, vacation in Amsterdam twice a year. My excuse was I was going to get drafted so enjoy it while I could. A Country Joe and the Fish attitude. Another thing is the establishment uses the young age of kids smoking to block reform of the Marijuana laws. I know your going to do what ever you want but your decisions effect all of us. The M.I.P. penalties are a b***ch, and can keep you from doing things you enjoy, like getting your liscence to drive till your 21 in my state. Just something to think about.

 

I think it should be 18 that way realistically people would prolly start around 16-17.
