China & the Olympics.

So has anyone heard about the they're thinking about cancelling the international portion of the Olympic torch run?

The IOC really should veto triumph marches through occupied territories.

Thoughts?

 

the greeks ceased their constant warring for the olympics, we should honour their tradition

 

I know they are planning to take the torch through Tibet. I hope they don't because I think it will probably end up a bloodbath if they do.

 

i agree, that would certainly be a very very bad idea

 

1: there are a lot of things that are messed up about china
2: there are a lot of things that are messed up about the u.s.
3: i don't give a rat about the olympics (which the summer ones i find boring anyway)
but 4: yes i would like to see an independent tibet,
along with 5: an independent whole lot of other places.
