I got into the grad school I wanted

    I'll be starting this coming autumn, I caaaaan't wait.

    I had an interview with the head of the development studies department in Goldsmiths (the uni I'm going to) last week, I was crazy nervous about it as I just wanted it to go well so bad. And luckily it did, because apparently he really liked me and recommended me to the admissions board, and yeeeeay, I got in. I got the letter this morning and I haven't been able to stop smiling since. :D

    I'm actually really proud of myself, I've worked my ass off to get here. And luckily, it all paid off. Yeeeeeaaaay!! :D

    I hope you're going to get to go to New Guinea and hang out with the locals. Collapse is just as good, except you have to slog through like 50 pages about Montana to get to the good stuff about Vikings and whatnot.

    Aww yay thanks :D

    We celebrated tonight, my boyfriend bought some champagne and cooked a really nice dinner. And he also promised to build/buy me a desk. :D Heheh, it was really cute. We still haven't gotten around buying all the furniture we need and so we don't really have a proper desk, I just use my laptop wherever and so does he. But now that I'll be needing it again for writing essays and stuff, he said he'd get one :D
