Anyone know of any good herbal treatments for allergies? I have tried the honey method and it isn't strong enough. Does anyone know of any thing else?

Hmm...no one replied...I was hoping to get some good information from this topic, too. But anyway...here are my thoughts. As far as I know, health stores have some capsules and whatnot you could be taken, but I've never tried any of them. I think, to get more information, you are going to have to list some symptoms you have, since some people have different symptoms...:) Good luck!

You can take echinacea, golden rod, god seal, and comfrey. I hope they help!

Some people take bee pollen. Take an antihistamine. They are cheap, safe, and effective.

Some of them are effective, anyway...:p

But anyway--I was just reading that Stinging Nettle helps--but you have to take it for about a month before you notice the affects. Anyone heard of this?

My grandmother actually got addicted to antihistamines. She took one for like 10 years and when she stopped it she started getting bad hives for a while. She takes herbs now and she's perfectly fine. I would really advise taking those... in my opinion they really are safer. When I'm really congested I also do a steam with eucalyptus and goldenseal root oil. It works wonders for me. When I started taking herbs they did take a while to start working ,but other than my occasional sinus infections, I'm okay now.
