Hello! I've had dreads since last July and to be honest haven't really been paying them that much recently, and plan to have a bit of a make over of them and am looking for advice! A lot of them have joined together at the roots, so would it be ok just to rip them all apart and palm roll them?? Also I have A LOT of hair that has managed to come out of the dreads, and is just in sort of chunks of normal hair, but much shorter than the rest. I also almost have a fringe of non-dreaded hair, which i definitely dont want! I was looking for advice on how to integrate the loose hair into my dreads, as the only advice I've got is to wax them which I really dont want to do!
