Getting my hands on some green in Kissimmee FL as a tourist

Yes, I know ... "psst, another goddamn tourist heading our way" but what I wanna know is just how difficult getting weed in Florida is if you're a tourist. I'm visiting in Sept for 2 weeks but don't think I could go without for that long! Will people sell to tourists? And I sure as hell ain't attempting to smuggle my own in!
Over here in the UK, you can pretty much get away with Ganja smoking with a smack on the wrist if you're caught possessing but if I were caught over there, would I be thrown in a cell and ass-raped for a year like we're lead to believe?! (an exaggeration, I know, but you get my point! lol)

 

Is that a beach town? I don't know how hard it would be for tourists to get hooked up because I only hook up people I know. But I saw one some cop show that people openly sell weed on the beach, so I guess with that information look for the biggest hippy stoner dude you see. I wouldn't necesarilly want to walk up to the biggest gangster dude yo see because from my experience with things hippies are alot more friendly than the gangsterish people.

 

No, it's not a beach town ... it's near some big-ass lake, I know that! lol Near to Disneyworld and all them kinda touristy places.
I'm also guessing that the quality of weed is better over there ... nasty soapbar and unknown strains of unknown origin are pretty rife around where I live!

 

Kissimmee has college students in it, and people do probably hang out at that lake. It's in the Central Florida region, so you're farther from redneck cops. Central Florida is a weird place with a whole lot of different people. If you're going to approach someone, then approach some college-aged folk who are obviously stoners... preferably in big groups since they won't figure you're a threat that way. I'd suggest looking a tad hippied-out and telling them that you're a tourist from Britain... people would be glad to help.

Here's the law for ya:

"Possession of 20 grams or less of marijuana is a misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000. Possession of greater than 20 grams of marijuana is a felony, punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000".

Cops in big cities are usually pretty damn chill with tourists. Just use common sense when you smoke. Don't smoke a blunt while driving through a busy street in daylight. In general... cops don't hassle tourists on traffic stops and the like... so you're very unlikely to get searched. If you do somehow manage to get a very pissed off cop... don't give them consent to search your vehicle and the rest of that good stuff. I'm sure that the laws aren't too different.

But yeah, I spend my summers in Central Florida, and it's pretty chill.

its near disney world and there are thousands of people there. i would reckon you could recognize at least one of them as a stoner.

 

kissimmee does suck. this is fact. i'd recommend you find another place to vacation. i mean, just 2 hours west and you're on the beautiful beaches of southwest florida. 2 hours south and you're in miami. an hour east and you're on the atlantic coast. so many options besides kissimmee. and that big ass lake you're referring to is lake Okeechobee or something like that. all the shit in central florida has really fucked up/weird names.

 

Wow, you guys really tore up this guy's vacation! As for finding weed, I have no experience, so I would just reccomend doing what the others told you. Have fun in the States man, hope you get some bud!

 

Yeah, pretty much! lol Although I don't think we're staying in the city, more on the outskirts near the airport and a load of swamps! That said, there's a lot to see and do so we won't be spending much time there, I would think!
So you think that the 'stoner student' types wouldn't really mind if a stranger with a northern English accent strolled up asking where he can find weed? I think it would be pretty obvious I'm not a cop! lol
