I'm writing this story and everyone of my friends/family that read it say it's good but I want the oppinion of people who do know/like me. Please, tell me your honest oppinion.

"Ciara, see reason! You can't give up who you are!" exclaimed the mouse brown haired man, grabbing his sister's arm.

"Andy, my mind is made up! Amanda doesn't need to be exposed to our world. She's a halfling, you know how their looked down upon!" the similar looking woman snapped.

"She's one of us, dispite your husbands human blood in her. Johnathan didn't leave our world because of a halfling child!"

"No, he left the child and that poor Junas girl. I'm not doing that, or have my daughter exposed to the racism of our world! Tell everyone I'm not coming back!" She pulled her arm from her brother's grip. "I love you, my dear twin, but I also love George and Amanda. I'm sorry." With that she walked away and out of her family's life forever.

    Chapter 1: Uncle Andy’s visit
“Dad, I’m home!” I called walking into the small apartment my father and I lived in. “Where are you?”
“Kitchen, Mandy!” He called out. I dropped my bag by the door and walked into the kitchen. It was small with a table that had miss-matched chairs, a gas powered stove, and a fridge. “How was school?”
Dad was pretty young looking with charcoal black hair and dark brown eyes. He was more like my big brother at times than my father.
“Boring, like always.” I answered sitting down at the table. “How was your day, daddy?”
“I…uh…got a call from your uncle.” Was he insane? My Uncle Henry, Dad’s brother, had died nearly three years ago!
“Dad, Uncle Henry’s dead.” I reminded
“Your Uncle Andy.” Uncle Andy? That’s crazier than Uncle Henry calling! No one from my mother’s family had contacted us since she died when I was five!
“What did he want? Why would he suddenly decide to call?” I questioned.
“He’s in town and wanted to stop by to talked with you.” explained Dad sitting in the other chair.
“What could be have to talk to me about?”
“I have an idea, but I not sure if it’s correct.”
“C’mon, tell me daddy!” I pleaded with a pout.
“No, now he’ll be here in an hour.”

I laid boredly on the couch flipping though the TV channels. “Mandy, get the door!” Ordered Dad when the door bell rang.
“Okay…” I sighed getting up and walked to the door.
“Amanda!” I was hugged by a man probably in his forties with graying mouse brown hair and puppy-dog blue eyes.
    “Um…Hello?” Wow, smart.
“You probably don’t recognize the old crook, it has been seven years.” laughed a boy with shaggy blonde hair and the same puppy blue eyes as the man. Boy, oh boy, was he cute! “I’m Tylor, this is my dad, Andy.” Darn it, he’s my cousins.
“Oh, Hi…!” I giggled nervously and snort which was followed by a blush. “C’mon in.” I stepped to the side and motioned into the house. Andy walked inside and into the kitchen. “Thanks for the help.”
“No problem.” Tylor assured walking in. “So how ya been? You’ve grown at least 3 times as tall since I last saw you!” He laughed deeply. It sounded like puberty had beaten the voice into him. ‘I hope that only happens to boys.’ I thought.
    “I’ve been fine.”
“You’d think its only been a few months, not a few years!” He laughed again.
“My dad told me to be friendly, So I’m being friendly.” I explained.
“Smart idea your gonna need to be friendly for what dad’s got to tell ya.” He sure laughed a lot.
“Really? What are you here for?” I asked eagerly.
“Can’t tell ya yet.” I’m going to have wait until Andy tells me, aren’t I? But, I guess I’ll try.
    “Why not?”
    “Because…”
“Dinner!” called Dad. ‘Great timing, daddy.’ I thought bitterly.
Dinner was pretty quiet. I could easily tell Dad and Andy didn’t like each other. On the other hand, Tylor and I were getting long great! He was quietly told me about the school his attend.
“So, no parents?” I asked when He started telling me about the dormitories.
“None, but there are Teachers.” Tylor looked a little sad. “The worst is Professor Mumei.”
    “Who’s that?”
“He’s the history teacher. Pure evil, both the subject and Mumei.” I laughed at the small joke.
“Amanda,” I looked over at Andy. “Would you like to attend Wolfbane Academy?” ‘He’s playing at something.’ I thought.
“It sounds like a cool place to go to school.” I fidgeted a little, I hate being stared at, which is what the three were doing.
“Your mother and I attended school there.” He informed me. “I’m sure Ciara, may she rest in peace, would love for you to go there.”
“No, my daughter will stay here. Amaya will not go to that freak school!” exclaimed Dad angrily.
“If you call those who attend the school freaks, you are calling my sister, your wife, and ultimately your daughter freaks.”
“I will admit that Ciara and Amanda are the same things as you are, but Ciara left your world.”
What are they talking about? Mom left what world? What am I? Has dad been keeping secrets about mom from me!?
“Dad’s getting pretty mad.” whispered Tylor, serious for the first time during the visit.
“What if she gets upset and transforms? At Wolfbane she’ll learn to control her temper, for the safety of her and others.” I noticed Andy’s eyes changed to an Amber color, like animal eyes.
“What’s going on!?” I yelled standing up.
“You mean you never told her?” Andy looked Shocked. “Do you think if you ignored what she was, it would just disappear, George?”
“Question still unanswered here!” I butted in before Dad could say anything.
“Of course, I’m sorry Amanda.” Andy quickly regained his calm attitude. “Why don’t we retire to the living room to talk?” Dad opened his mouth to protest, but I stopped him.
“Dad, whatever you two are yelling about it sounds like I have a right to know!” I told him then followed Andy and Tylor to the living room.
We sat in silence for a few moments as, I guessed, Andy thought of how to continue. “Amanda, have you ever felt…different?” He finally asked.
    “Doesn’t everyone?”
“Dad, stop beating around the bush.” ordered Tylor. “Amanda, your not normal…”
    “Gee, thanks.”
    “Dad and I aren’t normal.”
    “I can guess that.”
    “Our how family isn’t normal.”
“I haven’t seen them since I was five, and I know that. Any reason why?” I asked.
    “Because, were werewolves.”
Silence. After a moment, I couldn’t take it anymore. I burst out laughing.
“Nice one, I almost thought you were serious!”
“We are.” said Andy. I stared looked my uncle and cousin in the face, they were either really good actors or were really serious.
“Please say your joking…” I pleaded. I was never one for horror stories or Fairy tales.
    “Nope.”
    I fainted.

I don't know if Maxi is a werewolf or not, but every month when there's a full moon, just at midnight, he turns into a teenage boy. At dawn he turns back into a wolf/husky cross. Pretty scary when you think about it.
