Ppl who do get mad somethimes

Well guys does anybody else get a little bit mad at the ppl doing the peace sign just to say bye and theyre not even hippies or activist they just think showing the peace sign is just a fad. That one of the only things that make me mad well yeah peace to you all man and women :Mr-T: :sabres:

 

Nothing to get mad about ...


Just an annoyance at people taking things for granted, doing them without any real meaning (kisskiss on the cheek, saying the pledge because everyone expects it, etc.)

Now, kids who draw the Mercedes Benz emblem for a Peace Sign, that makes me mad.

Teach your children well...

 

Yea, don't know why that makes you mad.
I don't think the peace symbol should be used like it's sacred. I think it should be used freely just because I believe most the people who use it fully embrace what it stands for. But I think that might just be wishful thinking with a lot of society. :/

With that being said...it's okay to get mad. Especially if you're a hippy if you ask me.

I know I've had some cases of extreme anger that would only reinforce an intense euphoric and connected happiness.

 

Fuck peace and complancency!!! Wake up people! Whats there to be so happy about?

i dont think its anything to get mad about. i usually give the peace sign to people when im saying goodbye and all that. and i am in no way a hippy.

Last time I checked the peace sign is trademarked by any one group of people......

 

I started using the peace sign to say goodbye so loong ago. of course it was used long before i was born too.

Though it is crazy how something like that can catch on as a fad. I think fads are kinda lame and i started noticing how so many people were using it. It didnt stop me from using it though, cause i know whenever i do, i at least think about what those 2 fingers mean to me.

 

I don't get violent. I just can have something happen that would put most people in a closed depression but I always bring myself up because it reminds me of what I have to be happy for. I think that since LSD I can have the ability to see all the different possibilities if I chose to. It's not something that just comes to you..it is something you kind of have to look for. But not so hard.

 

Oh god, yes! And when people ask me why I have the Mercedes Benz sign on my badge, or drawn on me/in paintings.

But it's ok, because some people just don't know yet, and don't really think when they do the peace sign to say hello or bye or whatever. They're not trying to purposely offend you or upset you, so try not to pay too much attention to it.

I might say "peace" if I'm saying goodbye, depending who I'm talking to. But rarely use the peace sign, and if I do, I'm being ironic. I think it's become kind of cliche and it's gotten to the point where it doesn't really mean much outside of a certain context. But just my thoughts.
If it's harmless, I just try to put up with what other people do. But I snap every once in a while and angrily express my opinions on it...)
Be fucking happy it's just a peace sign and not sieg heil...

 

That it ridiculous. Why be mad at it? It's a formation you make with your fingers, it's not like it was copyrighted by hippies.

Like what Shale said, it's like saying the pledge because you're "supposed to". you don't need to do it, and i don't either. people don't have to flash the peace sign, but i think they really wanted to when they do.

I once was walking down the street and two children were hanging out of a school bus window and gave me the peace sign and said "Peace and Love". I wasn't aware I looked hippy-ish.

 

You get so many peace signs, driving in an old VW bus..

everyones like haning out the windows... PEACEE MAN

but what about the people that Bush is answering too, the highest up sitting back for starving countries, and making other people starve because we went to war with them... And the list goes on and on... What about that?!?1 when we going to get together and fight the power..

 

it annoys me when people flash the peace sign or say "peace" and dont really mean it like gangsters or whatever. like to me it means so much and its so profound its annoying when they do but dont mean it.
