Old lady's daughter is over here pissing me off.. They're having a birthday party for the old lady tomorrow who turned 99 last april 1st. I cleaned, dusted, vacuumed, blah.. blah.. cleaned as much as a house that hasnt been cleaned in over 40 years, and belongs to someone who was a pack rat cna be... they cleaned house and shoved everything in the dining room and put up curtains to hide it. Old Lady's daughter has been here since 4 going through shit in the room with all the crap in it naming every single thing she comes across, and asking if its trash, and even if it is, she put it in a box and is taking it home. Every time she comes over, all she does is aggravate the old lady, and me nitpick at everything.. she needs a hobby, or smoke a joint or something. I have 3 beers chilling in the closet in a portable cooler ready for me to guzzle tomorrow when everything is over, and a fat joint. she has such a big stick up her ass, that she doesnt know what to do with herself, so she comes over and bothers me. she talks waaaay too much, every other word out of her mouth is "umm.." which I loathe. I wish she would leave so i can smoke a bowl and eat dinner which has been ready since 6. her husband just sits in the living room while she runs around like a chicken with her head cut off with a resigned look on his face.. Id have shot myself or her by now.
No my vacation begins on the 17th. Then I can be stoned all the time. Arabs to not like pot. Cant smoke now.
Well actually some do. But when I am in UAE they can test anyone, anywhere for any reason. Being as I am an outsider I am a prime candidate for testing. You test positive you go to jail for years. I have a problem with being imprisoned. It just does not seem like I would like it. Especially in the middle east. This will be my last visit to the middle east for a long time. (My upcoming visit) Then I will relax and be stoned in Central America for a few years.
That's harsh! DJ Grooverider is currently serving 4 years for possession there, I don't think I would personally be too keen to experience the inside of a cell there either, or anywhere. I'm led to believe that prison is not a very nice place. What do you do there, are you going for work? I travelled through Dubai airport on the way to and from Goa a few years, if they had tested me I would have turned up positive for cannabis for sure. Yeeeek. I lived with an Egyptian guy a few years ago, really lovely guy he was, he is part of the reason I speak out against islamaphobia so fervently in fact. He told me when he a child his grand dad used to smoke hashish in his water pipe. Apparently he lived until the ripe old age of about 90, and died suddenly when he fell through the roof of his house one day.
I am going to Abu dhabi. Got some business deals to finish. Most Arabs are totally cool. Lots of them smoke hash. But again it is the people in power that can test anyone and throw anyone in jail. As an outsider I am a prime candidate for testing. It has not happened yet but I cannot take chances. UAE is real strict on the drug thing.
Try a half a year. Went there a few moths ago and am returning in a week or so. Thank god I will only be there for at the max 2 days. Break is over soon!

I wish you could too. But I imagine you are busy doing things with your job and I am pretty busy myself until I leave. I will be in Central America for about 4 months this time. Who knows what the future will bring. If I have learned anything in life it is that it is a small world. Anything can happen! One day we may in fact get high together. Yes they can. It depends on what you do and where you go. Your behavior also plays a factor. I have never been tested. But you can be sure there are Americans and other westerners in jail there that were tested and failed the tests. I am overcautious in whatever I do. Not only the middle east. Parts of Asia are just as bad.
I do not think they would unless you gave them a reason. But for god sake to not travel with drugs or paraphernalia when you go through Arab or Asian countries.
