commercials "pay" for the show, but i think it is just to numb our minds so we can be probed by the gov. to find out all our secrets...oh wait, this isn't the conspiracy forum! lol.
there are commercials on every station!!! except for public broadcasting stations, but who watches them anyway?
commercials are like that because they work. it's a high hat to the masses, like hollywood or most anything else in the media. they're easy to understand, repetitive, and they work.
