I had a dream where I was in the woods on the lake's edge and I could see a crecent moon over the lake and a few clouds in the sky and the lake was made of blood. I haven't watched any scary movies or anything so I know I'm not dreaming because of that. Does anyone know any dream interpretation?
Do you mean like telling the future? or like freudian interpretations? It sounds like a beautiful dream though.
I'm not sure, but I think while interpreting your dream, the most important thing is not the action and setting itself, but rather the emotions that are attached to it.
Blood To see blood in your dream, represents life, love, and passion as well as disappointments Lake To see a lake in your dream, signifies your emotional state of mind. If the lake is clear and calm, then it symbolize your inner peace. If the lake is disturbed, then you may be going through some emotional turmoil.
if i were to make a poetic interpretation it sounds like your in your own heart, the lake of blood, and its peaceful and calm there, the forrest and the moon and your dwelling by it. of course usually when people talk about blood the mean about people spilling and loosing it, but i don't see quite see that in your setting. its like maybe the blood is like what is real of life and you've found the place where it all flows to and gathers into a lake. the only negative i could see would be some sort of polution that makes the water look like blood. there's one of the storys in george martin's tuff voyaging where he's enguaged in a plague contest and a micro-organism that makes the water like that gets put into it upstream. there's also, you know, that resivoir of childrens tears in some kind of an interesting anime, i for get the name of. but living by a lake of blood. that's interesting. i man in a dream it is. of course that can only be symbolic or in some other univese, the nature of actual blood being what it is, you wouldn't really have a lake of liquid, or you would for long, and you wouldn't want to be anywhere near it if you did. but something liquid that looks like blood, represents blood, represents the spirit symbolicly of blood. and yet a perfectly calm and serene setting. the trees weren't purple with blue leaves of blue with purple leaves or something like that by any chance were they? because that's really a kind of, well like a kind of one way of looking, at least in my own seeing, of the idea of something representing a surroundings if you were without mind or memory, like if you were on the so called other side, of life. =^^= .../\...
what colour was the blood? when i dream of blood it is allmost allways either black or blue. sometimes it is clear or red.
I think its incredible how we except anything in a dream for the most part. I mean we know blood is not clear but you just know in the dream that it is blood.
but a calm lake of blood wouldn't exactly be clear! sometimes i love the silliness of dream interpretation cookbooks. the problem with universal symbologies is that symbols, for the most part ARN'T THAT universal. still, it does, granted, sound like being at peace with, finding peace, with one's "passions". whatever they might happen to be. =^^= .../\...
blood is clear in it's normal state. (calm?) blood is red when fully oxygenated. blood is blue when it starts to become unoxygenated. blood is black when the blood cells are dead. once i dreampt of green blood. green blood does not exist. (well, at lest not here on planet earth.) i knew what it ment though. green ment poisoned blood. i have one hell of alot of dark and terrible dreams. very, very, few nice ones. i guess i'm just dream wacky.
The blood was a dark crimson red and it was rippling and it looked thick and alive. It was an eerie feeling that came over me in regards to the emotion in the dream.
