Anti-Depressents

Besides all the arguing the simple fact is that SSRI inhibitors do not have recreational value.

On the other note most people do not enjoy taking these medicines due to after long awhile of them having taken the rx they find it does not help and makes them feel zombified.

 

While I don't necessarily agree with some of soaring eagles opinions on these types of drugs; the facts he presented are just that. Facts. These types of drugs have been found to cause some rather terrible side effects, particularly in individuals in the first quarter or so of their life (approx birth-25 years). They can also be wonderful medications that can turn someones life around and let them live happily. Thats a huge range of possible effects which is why these drugs need to be used very sparingly and closely monitored for any complications by a qualified, experienced medical professional who you quite literally have to trust with your very life.


By the way, Seroquel is an atypical anti psychotic. These types of medications can be much more dangerous than anti-depressants. Anti-psychotics aren't anything to fuck around with, even for an experienced drug user. They are incredibly powerful substances that can either save your life or completely destroy you when taken improperly. Oh, and did I mention that lactation (leaking breast milk) is a common side effect of Seroquel? It's even been documented in males. Long story short, It's not a good idea to fool around with medications as powerful as these; you might end up with leaky nipples or you might end up offing yourself. Not really a cost effective means of getting high when you think about it . . .

So basically... you get a drug from a friend without even knowing what drug it is. Both of you morons think it's an antidepressant. You claim to have done research and you still think an AD will get you high?! If you had really done any kind of research then you would have known that antidepressants don't get you high, they won't give you even the slightest buzz - they are reacreationally WORTHLESS. And the people here tell you the very same thing. Yet you still take your pills. And oh... they weren't antidepressants. Seroquel is an anti-psychotic! Which is also useless unless you have a medicinal use for it. And yet you still think there's nothing wrong with this set of actions. You're BY FAR the dumbest wannabe pharm user I've met! Grow up, kid.

Oh, and so you wouldn't try any other useless pills... ibuprofen and acetaminophen also don't get you high. Same goes for multivitamins.

Will you go over all these messages again? Nearly everyone states that antidepressants and recreationally useless. If you can't pick that up then either you can't read or you have problems processing it. And if someone claims to have done research on the topic and comes here and asks if ADs are good and gets told they aren't and STILL takes them, then... well, that person is a moron. You're a fucking moron if you truly believe whoever told you that antidepressants will get you high because they won't. They don't even help with what they're intended for.

I hate them and the fact that people still willingly take them just because they came from a doctor and anything a doctor says is automatically right.
